Non smokers, say you are on a car trip with a smoker in your car. You told them they can't smoke in your car , wouldn't you stop so they can have a smoke? I would. Just because I am allergic doesn't mean They are suddenly a non smoker! They just can't smoke around me. Your thoughts.

I am a smoker, and I also have had a rule not to smoke in my car. Yes, I would make a stop if a person needed to stop to have a smoke. Would give me a chance to walk around also, use the bathroom, etc.

i would give them a tabaco break they just need to tell me and i will stop. it would give me a toilet break too or a time to text or call har har har. i dont smoke but i understand if they want to smoke. as long as they will tell me for i dont like them to smoke inside the vehicle. if i am one of the friends and they want to smoke in a persons car for the one who owns the car smokes too i will demand for a stop. this maybe his car but this is my body and i dont like to get trap inside a vehicle full of smoke.

So if the roles were reversed, it would Really be a smoke stop.If they are your friends , they should be able to not smoke when you are in the car.

I am a smoker. I carry mints with..tic tac's so when there is a long time to go between breaks I have it covered! I don't expect to inflict my bad habit on anyone else. The only time it's really bothered me is when I took a trip with my daughter and her family in Iowa....there is no smoking at the rest area's either!!!!!

i would not do that,i think ,there's nothing wrong with a smoker, but as a smoker you should always care about others, ant it';s totally your foult to smoke at the pubilc places, imagine that ,if someone is smoke at the bus,you can;t let the bus driver to stop the bus because he want to smoke,so that type of things will never happen to me ,you have no reason to smoke in my car or in any pulice,

Many people smoke at the bus stop waiting for the bus in my home town. And if it is a long bus ride , there are stops. And yes there is a reason to smoke in public. I rather have my friend tell me to stop than have them suffer just because I'm allergic.

I am a smoker and I would never smoke in a car if the passenger/driver was a non-smoker. I think it is out of respect for that person. But I would really appreciate if i wanted to smoke and that person stopped the car for me to smoke! :)

I am a non-smoker. Here it is not allowed to smoke in the cars. But if there is somebody really smokes in the car, I will ask him to stop. I am not so afraid of it because obviously it is wrong for us to suffer the second hand smoking. I love China

It would be the considerate thing to do, not only for smokers but for everyone else in the car who might want to get out and stretch their legs, use the bathroom, get something to drink. It's probably a good idea for the driver to take a break, too.

I'm a smoker myself and I have a non-smoker friend who comes with me in my car often. And every time we're in the car, I don't smoke as I'm being considerate to those who are non smokers. Because I myself hate inhaling some smoker's smoke if I'm not smoking.

If it were a long car trip, I would. I'm not a smoker, but I've been with smokers a few times. When I used to work with some friends and we carpooled, everybody knew they couldn't smoke in my car. They could just wait for the 40-minute ride to be over before they lit up. But if it were a really long trip, like the one I took with friends 2 winters ago, we would stop at rest areas along the interstate so they could smoke, and I could get a few minutes rest from driving.

You are supposed to take a break every two hours anyway when riding in a car.

i would do the same thing, that way we both can be happy. Don't want to tell them they cant smoke if they want to.
