My greatest fear in life when i see snakes in front, it really scary and it makes me creeps at all times. I just wonder, how come some people fear hairy animals while others adore, why it happens. Why some people loathes height while others appreciate nerve wrecking sports involving heights? Gives me the impression that, if others are not afraid of your fear then your fear might be just in your mind right? If others can do the things you fear, there is a possibility that you will be able to do and overcome it as well. I have read that hypnosis is being used for some treatment. Do you think it would work on vanquishing fears as well, i am started to be confuses if will work on. I will ask you, what i your greatest fear? And how do you deal with it?

My greatest fear is being alone. I'm not really the friendly type. I tend to choose friends unconsciously and i think it's because it'S for my own good.

Fear is False Expectation Appearing Real. So for me its only in the minde. If you keep on claiming that you have fear on something then you will. You are right if others can overcome their fear, you will also be able to overcome yours. So have a positive perspective in mind, have that overcoming feeling and you will eventually overcome your fears.

Fear is something that can be real. We give fear the power to survive or disappear. the greater our fear is , the stronger it can become. we feed fear with our minds. We can also take it away.

According to Freud, if you fear snakes, you fear having *e*. I read it on our psychiatry book. I think it's based on your experience or you haven't experienced why you fear things. Everybody has a fear and it's normal. I have fear worms and cockroaches. They are gross. I run and hide if a cockroach is around.

I also have fear in cockroaches and a bit of heights. I feel like I'm going to fall when I look down but after looking down for a longer period, I then feel at ease.

My greatest fear is being alone someday.. not being able to lived out my dream, not being able to go far from what I am today; but besides those emotions which is medically connected to the brain; So yes... I can fairly say that FEAR is only in the MIND... but what the heck... we are only Humans... when we feel.. we have to emote.. and fear is one of those emotions carried from the heart to the mind and vice versa, So welcome to the really world.. You are very HUMAN.

Fear is due to one's being NOT accustomed to the particular situations and their demands.Hypnosis does help, but in the hands of amateurs,it is dangerous.I am afraid of accidents,as the carelessness of another person may affect others.I feel, increasing one's will-power,may make one get rid of one's fears. The will to overcome obstacles,is the prime requirement for a successful life. This requires one to have almost all the positive qualities.
