Do you ever feel sympathy for convictts or prisoners?

I feel sympathy for some of them. i don't really believe that all that are convicted are really guilty, some are just framed or something. And I really pity them.
Here in the Philippines some of the prisoners, are innocent..Or because of poverty are forced to do what they can to survive and keep their family alive. They sell drugs, or steal from others. Not all criminals are bad,maybe just misunderstood..

I don't feel sorry for or have any sympathy for any convict or prisoner that actually did the crime because if they shouldn't of done it. I do believe that not all are bad and could be just misunderstood, but they should know that doing crime doesn't get you anywhere but in trouble and you may hurt someone else in the process.

yes not only do you hurt or even kill other people but you also hurt yourself more.. You destroy your reputation and your character...Doing a crime can break people sometimes...

I agree as I know some acquaintances who were convicted on false pretenses. It is a shame that the courts do not see each individual person, as I stand firm that we no longer are innocent until proven guilty.
As I find when people have court issues from day one, especially if the person does not have a lot of money, they guilty and it is up to them to prove their innocence. So I have absolutely no faith in our Justice System.

Yes, this situation really saddens me... Poor people are always or most o the times guilty already because they cannot hire lawyers to defend them..they cannot bail themselves out, and when they defend themselves, they are not listened to..not like the rich.

Unfortunately Human being said as the most compassionate of all the living things on the earth are also the cruelest of all. Therefore it is no surprise when they punish the innocent cruelly. How can we be relieved of such atrocity when Jesus Christ was not spared???

Yes, It really surprises me how we people can be both compassionate and cruel. I just hope someday that the number of compassionate people outnumber those who are cruel here on earth.
