If you watch Project Runway Finale 2010 & Mondo did not win but Gretch did why?

I was very disheartend to learn today online the Mondo on Project Runway did not win. Gretchen did. That her comment was $100,000 is not a lot moeny when you think about it and Mondo only had $14.00 to his name! I really like him as clothes designer. He love of patterns and colors where awesome and not seen by many designers right now! His use of color so subtle he is truely a great designer better then the designers who where the judges. Do you think Gretch won because she told Tim on his visit to her house that she got wipe out in her bank account by her ex-boyfriend felt sorry her? It makes you wonder and I was bored by her use of brown colors in design. Thanks and have a great day! Sincerley Unique16

Tim didn't have a vote. And Mondo won $20,000 earlier in a Project Runway challenge so he wasn't broke then. Nina and Michael Kors thought Gretchen should win. Heidi Klum and guest Judge Jessica Simpson thought Mondo should win. They argued about it, and with input from producers as well, Gretchen won. I personally thought Mondo's was better, but Gretchen's clothes looked more wearable.

hello AmbiePam, I wish I watch the last show I watch it all upto this point but I moved up better postion at my night job and now I work Thursday night instead of Friday so missed the show and saw peices of it online. Thank you for the nice idepth recap because online did not explain it that way. They showed all the outfits etc... and then said Gretchen won. I forgot Mondo won that $20,000 dollars that will help him and really do hope we more of his creations in the coming months. He was a sweetheart and never talk bad about anybody even Heidi asked himwho should go to New York Show with him. He struggled really hard because he like I think his name was Michael the other one who was gay on the show but sent him home that week they were selecting for the 2 weeks to spend at home doing outfits etc.. Lifetimetv.com is supposed to have the episodes on their site. Pretty much everyone thinks Mondo was robbed. I've read so much on the internet lately with professionals as well as fans saying Gretchen didn't deserve it.
