I like the Resident Evil franchise and I was disappointed with the live action movie RE: Afterlife. There was hardly any zombie action in the movie. So, I was excited to hear that there was going to be a new CG Resident Evil movie. It's called Damnation and is the sequel to an earlier CG Resident Evil movie called Degeneration that came out in 2008. I saw a mini trailer of it on IGN and was glad to see Leon S. Kennedy make a return. The trailer was way too short so I didn't really get much from it but apparently it takes place somewhere in Europe and the place looks like a warzone. These CG movies are a bit more faithful to the game than the live action movies so that's a good thing for me. Anyways, looking forward to hearing more updates about this movie.

You know, I hate this movie. But to his credit, Shawn Roberts looks a lot better as Wesker than I thought he would. Considering how young he is (25) I thought he wouldn't look the part at all. His costume looks like a recreation of the 5 one too, which is kind of awesome.Still. This movie still sucks.

Ah...are you referring to the live action movies? Because in the CG movies Wesker hasn't made an appearance yet. But I have to agree with you. The Resident Evil live action movies are not that great. It seems like the more movies they make the further away from the actual story they get. These later ones don't even deserve to have the RE title attached to them.

Thanks for the heads up on this, as I didn't know about it. I've seen there other animation movie which name escapes me at the moment but I just checked the trailer for this and it's look very good. The actual movies for me have started to get worse which each follow up and I only really "really" like the second but the first is good. third isn't so bad but it could of been much better and I felt it lacked what the game as always pretty much delivered. I'm looking forward tot this!

I have to agree with you there. The live action RE movies seem to be steering away from the game. It's turning more into an action type series. You hardly see any zombie action which is a bummer because that's what RE is about.

I would not say that I liked RE degeneration that much, I found re3 better than cg movie. To an extent Extintion dissapointed me but the 3D action were very nice and I will wait for another RE movie, if there is any.
