When is the end of learning?

China

I am very tired because of endless learning.Sometimes I consider why I have to learn and when is the end of the day.I even do not know what is my intention to go to school and whether the knowledge is useful or not.Until now,I can not see the future. Do you have ever met the same problem as to me when you were in school? Now,I doubt the modern education which service for our children. The college seem to be a training institution which is only measured by credits.Although the government promote quality-oriented education, the reality is not as the situation as they said.Every students in school only are asked to study science culture knowledge.Their interests are put aside. Why the education is like this in china? I am very dissatisfied.

Study fatigue is not a problem to you alone-in my country, I have seen men and women too old but they still seek qualifications-i think this is really a waste of valuable time-it does not make sense to study for ever-it makes life rather meaningless!

Learning.. There is no end of learning. Learning is a technique in which man learns how to learn and how to communicate. It is said that "Man will die but learning will never die". So learning will not get stop.. Only once 'learning' can stop or end, when the world will dismissed by the nature like in the movie '2012'..

My English is not so good,so it is hard for me to express all my thoughts clearly. But the most important one is that learning, for sure,is not a waste of time.I am a graduate student,I have left school for about 4 months, and I cherish the school time most. When I was in college, for sometimes I thought some of the subjects were not useful for me,for my furture career. But now I realize that all of them are so helpful,so I have to review myself. So just learning whenever you can ,whereever you can,and do not stop.

Learning is constant and continuous. I believe we will never stop learning even as we grow older. The school is only there to help us as you said it's a training institution. You have a lot more to learn outside the school grounds. I have asked this question before but then i gave up finding the right answer because i realized that in every mans walk of life we learn. In every experiences we encounter, we learn and keep on learning.

Learning is what life is all about. From the moment we are born we start to learn and we continue to do so every day until we die. If you feel the way you do then the problem is with what you are learning. Try and make the most of it coz when you get older you have to find the time to learn what you want to learn

the learning process will never meet the end point my friend.i will take and learn new thing and gain knowledge as hard as i can.it does not matter if i am using it later or not. i just enjoy my time learning and gaining more knowledge.we learn what they feed us or forced us to learned and we learn things that interest us.it has no different as far as we understand we will practice and apply it later in our life.

I'm sorry to hear of your dissatisfaction. I'm from the Caribbean and I must say we are offered a range of study opportunities from engineering, medicine, science, social science, arts and humanities. We also have a fairly good Tech Voc learning centre as well. I think education is as such that once you study what interest you you'll realise the learning is endless...till you die. What I did in my degree I see aspects of it in all I do. My job, interaction with friends, home, community. Learning is fun and it's everywhere. Maybe, if you are tired of you academic studies try pursuing a hobby that sparks your interest and learning about that hobby might be more fun for you.

Very nice, I appreciate your thought and am very glad that you expressed your concern in a very good manner. In my point of view there is a little difference in learning and getting education. Learning is a process, which starts from lap of mother till the end of life, so dont think that purpose of school is only to give you learning but you are in process of learning, in school you are getting the basic education of life that what you ll choose in your future, your school and college life ll come to end in few years and after that you ll come to practical life which is very hard, so enjoy your time at school and college, at school and college you are just preparing for your new practical life for example you wake up early in the morning, go for your school, just like your father, he prepares for work early, your timings may be different but it is preparing you and making you to regulate your timings, then at school you are given different tasks to complete, it is just like an office, in school you are given different task according to your text book or syllabus but at office you ll have to create different task for your self and then you ll get benefit from that task for yourself and for the company, so dont think that school is giving you an education for which does not have any purpose, it is preparing you mentally for your future and you may think after one or two years that you are ready but it is essential for you to be there for a certain period of time and at the end if you have good marks and grades many companies are there to hire you, if you have good grades, so try to secure good grades by doing tasks given by teacher, complete these tasks like an army men or an office man and enjoy it, you ll learn from here a lot and you ll definitely have your concentration during this Happy school life...:)

We may learn when we are at school and college and for some of us university aswell, but we learn throughout life aswell just by doing our jobs and getting on with our experiences in life. Going to university is becoming quite hard to pay off though, but the point with that is you could get very good payed jobs compared to an average wage if you choose the right course and follow it though with a job thats helps to achieve the job you were aiming for by going.

Learning in life in never ending but when it comes to education and studying I believe that once a person finishes high school and is ready to enter tertiary education it is a matter of finding what one is passionate about because once that passion is found learning will be good fun and a career in the chosen field will never feel like work

Learning is not only in the school, it is also a way of life, day to day. New thinks will always refresh ourselves. world is our school, we are student. In Tamil (one Indian language)proverb it is explained as : 'Learned is only a pinch of hand, but thinks to learn is Global size'. Be interest youselves in learn new thinks, ever.

To keep me interested in learning or continuous studies, I watch Ophrah and I read stories from poor countries. They don't have much what we have and hearing them makes me realize why I should keep on going. Another reason to keep on studying is that one would not be able to move up the career ladder if you became stagnant. Yes, it is tiring but you have to focus on a more noble reason why you have to keep on going. I'd like to think that studying would not only be for myself but for the people that I lead. I need to learn how to swim before I will be able to save, don't you think? There is one learning or study that I believe is essential for everyone. And that is studying our Creator's wisdom and morals. By studying the holy scripture, I learn valuable skills in living a clean, honest life. And doing so would benefit myself but other people as well. Through the scriptures, I learn how to understand others, be patient, hope and love. These lessons in life is so valuable. Initially, I don't find reading the bible interesting. But one has to find a good teacher who would motivate you to do so. I found one from Bro. Eli Soriano through his program The Old Path. I do the same in studying for school. I have to find a good maestro who would be able to motivate me in studying. It's up to you to find an inspiration on how you can be motivated to continue studying. Good luck to you!

There is no end in learning. As for me, we should not get tired of learning. As long as we have the opportunity to learn why not grab it. There are still alot of youths who are out of school due to financial problems. While others don't have the capacity to go to school due to physical disability. You have to set your goal and focus on your interest so that you will not get bored in your studies.

In our life, there is no end to learn. We start learning since the first day we reach this world. We keep on learning until the last breath of our life. We learn new things because of our interests and our necessities. We are motivated when we see the fruitful result of our afford. If we learn something without our interest, without our necessities and the motivation, will we put in our afford to get a great result? I definitely won't.

We are livng in a fast changing world and this environment demands us to become faster and more flexible. In order to be capable of handling any kind of situation in career, there needs to be a continous learning plan. Learning will be easier with a planned career. Planning for a career is the most important step in life to achieve a rewarding job. There is no end for learning and if anyone thinks that his current skills are good enough, it implies that there is no improvement in the current job and life style. Learning can be a pleasure when you broaden your areas of learning. The faster you can learn new things, the more valuable you become and you can advance further in your career easily.

I think you are confusing with the formal education and the actual process of learning. formal education what we are getting in schools and colleges is given us to make us proficient in earning our bread, may it be then any field right from arts, commerce, science or any other thing! Together with this , we are also taught how to behave ourselves in society and how to follow the rules and regulations laid out by the local governing bodies , so that we can lead a respectable and responsible life ! Through the formal education we have become literate and by becoming literate we have approached to learn only some subjects which are useful for earning our bread and butter. But now there is much left as far as learning is concerned. Learning is a process of acquiring new knowledge. In other words Know how is learning. In this nature every thing happening around is a mystery there are several things in nature still now, in spite of several scientists conducted various researches which are yet to be answered. We don't know if there is life on any other planet. We don't now what exactly the sun is made up of. What is this gravitational force and why it is needed in first place and how exactly it has been conceived in the nature. Today we are not in a position to define what is time. Thus if we see there are unending processes going around us which we don't know how they are happening. There are many other things about whom we don't even know, Such things are yet to be explored and exploited. Thus in my opinion learning is an unending process and one remains student through out one's life as there is scope of improvement in any field which can be accomplished only by the application of our knowledge which is aquired by the process of learning. Thanks for initiating such an interesting and thought provoking discussion! I liked it!

I stopped going to school a long time ago but I have never stopped learning. The only difference is I am learning what I want to learn not what they say I Have to learn. I didn't see the point of going to college. I was lucky. I got to do what I wanted when I was in highschool. I wasn't forced to go to college because I truthfully told my mom I would pick a college with a tall buildin so if it were as bad as I thought it would be I could jump off! So I didn't go. In the meantime , I have learned many things . All of them were subjects I was imnterested in. If you want to learn , it never stops. If you don't want to learn new things , it stops the moment you leave school.

I don't know much about Chinese educational system. I heard from my friends, Chinese teachers are corrupted, and not much care about whether their students learning a thing or two. To me, education is quite useful at some point of your life. Whether you agree or not. At least education might give you more opportunity in the future, and giving you more choices in job market. Choosing to learn is part of your lifetime selections among many things.

The world has evolved in such a way that modernizing has become very lucrative. I would suggest that you set some goals with the future but do not spend countless hours simply worrying about it. Nicely said with regards to whether or not the benefit of modern education not being satisfying. I think too many shortcuts and conveniences are occurring causing people to think less. So sounds like you are preparing your mind to gradually think ahead which is a good thing. Best of luck with your studies.

Living your life until you die is a constant learning. If you are bed ridden you are still capable of learning. Unfortunately as we age and as we hear a lot of things, we still learn a lot from it.
