Just when we thought we saw the last of Alvin Greene

Alvin Greene is not saying he might run for president in 2012. He has called the SC elections department to find out how much it will cost to file for it. Oh my goodness...the guy is unemployed and spent 10k of his own money on filing fees for his failed SC run for the Senate...now he is talking about running for president...on the REPUBLICAN ticket. Looks like Greene now wants to take on Obama. http://news.yahoo.com/s/dailycaller/20101109/pl_dailycaller/couldalvingreenebeonthe2012republicanpresidentialticket_1 What do you think of this? Why would he even think about doing this? Guess he figured he was a HUGE embarrassement to the democrats in this past election so he now wants to be a HUGE embarrassement to the Republicans in the next one. Someone seems to be wanting to extend his 15 minutes of fame....why can't he just go on a bad reality show and leave politics alone?

I say Alvin needs to be knocked off unemployment and go to work like the rest of us. The media needs to stop following bozos like this and they too should find "real work/news stories". I also hope they are watching this guy's campaign funds. My guess is some crazies are donating to his campaign and Greene is making a living off the fund. Usually it's called a "scam"...

It is looking like a big old publicity stunt to me. He has unveiled a comic book he created...or rather had someone else create. http://www.charlestoncitypaper.com/charleston/alvin-greene-unveils-comic-book/Content?oid=2444366 He is also working on figures for the comic book. Looks like he is using politics to promote his comics. Why can't this guy just use regular commericals like everyone else. Also someone should have told him that comic books are not real popular with kids anymore. They would rather play video games.

Al comic books I think I'll pass. I hope he's declaring his business income in his taxes...

If you can't say anything else for Alvin, you can sure say he's single-minded. He's got Washington on the brain and it's his sole goal in life. I do think finding a job might be the goal of others in his situation, but Alvin only wants one type of job. I don't think he will find a way to stay in a race for president, his primary win was really just a matter of the voters choosing "the other guy" on the ballot. Now that he's well-known, the "other guy" factor isn't going to work for him anymore. But he might get a few more minutes in the spotlight, maybe some nice perks.

Heck...look at the job our elected officals do and the perks they get. They do nothing, are not held accountable much and you get great benefits. Who wouldn't want the job. Now that people know who he is, he does not stand a chance. I just think he likes the spot light.

I don't really find him entertaining..more annoying. My state has enough embarrassements when it comes to politicans...we don't need him adding to it.
