I'm going to buy a new laptop, some friends said HP is good while some said SAMSUNG is better? what do you think? I don't play computer games, I just need a laptop to write emails to my customers and watch movies in my spare time.

i think it depends from models..so normally i can't judge a pc just from the brand because in amny cases many popular brands create good pc it depends if these can be suitable for my needs or not!!So hp or samsung are good brands so you should choose your pc considering the tech specs of different computers and not only brands.

Hi, I'm looking to buy a laptop within 35000 INR (that'd be around 650-700 USD) the specs i am looking for are: 1. 15 inch screen 2. RAM 4 GB (minimum) 3. HDD 500 GB (minimum) 4. i3 or i5 (i mean obviously i would like an i5 but i dont mind an i3 either) these are teh basic specs. the stuff i saw were a. HP Pavilion g6 1d00 b. HP Pavilion g6 1d 70us c. HP Pavilion g61200 TX d. Samsung NP300e5Z-AOMIN e. Samsung NP300e5Z-SO8IN Could you please suggest which one would be better? i have heard bad stuff about samsung but it seems more affordable? how is toshiba? i have to think about after sales service as well

I think HP is better. 2 of my friends recently bought HP core i3 laptop with around 600 CAD and they work really great. I suggest you to review the websites before buying any laptop.

I cannot give my view about this, because the laptop I have been using is Toshiba. I have been using it for many years now, and I always carry it along when I travel. It is working very well. Yes, I need it to keep in touch with my office by emails.

both brands are respectable ones..it just boils down to how much are you willing to spend and what specifications do you need?just like me,i wanted a portable laptop without sacrificing the loss of an internal optical drive and at a budget price so i opted to get a Compaq 12.1 incher. it may not be that high-end when it comes to specs and the brand is actually the budget line of HP but it meets all that i need and require in a laptop.
