Hello, I love tea, and have been looking for something in particular lately. I enjoy most herbal teas, especially chammomile when I need to sleep. I am finding myself more and more tired lately, and was wondering if there is a particular kind of tea that helps boost your energy level, the same way that chammomile helps you sleep?

Yerba mate will give you energy. It contains a caffeine like substance, so don't drink it late at night, but it works gently. I can drink it and I have to be careful of how much caffeine I drink because I have a kidney condition. It tastes good, too.

Well, try green tea. But for a sure fire way, you could always go and down some caffeine. Try downing some energy drinks, it always increases energy if you need it.

Thank you, I will give green tea a try. I try to avoid "Energy Drinks", as they tend to be loaded with sugar, or other ingredients that make you "crash", but I do keep a supply of straight Caffeine pills handy in a crunch.

Hi Cbar86. I belong to a a coffee club named Gevalia maybe you have heard of it. There is a tea that I get when I get a new package of coffee for my son its called Afternoon Revival. I sent a box to my girlfriend in Canada and she swears it gives her a boost in the afternoon. It tastes to me like English Breakfast, or something similar to that. Its a good tea, but I didnt notice the boost my friend was talking about but maybe it depends on different people I just love tea of any kind. My doctor (rhuematologist) told me she wanted me to start drinking more green tea than regular tea. So I did find a good Liptons Green tea with mandarin orange. I tend to use tea to relax with more than a pick me up I guess. Anyway hope you go to the Gevalia site and check out the tea I am telling you about Have a great day!
