Gratefulness is one of the good character anybody should have. Isn't it good to feel that when you do some favor for a person he or she shows some gratefulness such as saying thank you. It's free to say thank you, but why people don't used to say it. Well because some people say that it's corny to say thank you a lot. They show gratefulness by giving back the favor such as giving gifts or money more than they should. There's nothing wrong with that but in my opinion if you will say thank you while giving gifts it would be better because it was still a wonderful expression that will make the person who extend you some favor happy. And a happy heart will brighten up and make other people practice giving more. How about you? are you showing gratefulness all the time? How?

I try to let people know that I am always grateful to them. There have been times that I did not show this as much as I should have. Showing gratitude to others is showing them respect and that is something important.

Yes, i believe that one of the best character of a person is being grateful. But there are people who are faking it just to gain favor from others. As for me, I make it a point to say thank you to people who have done me favor wether big or small. At times I also give them gifts or any token of appreciation to brighten up their day. It also boost their self confidence and morale. We have to be true in what we say.

This is such a valid question. I talk about this off and on all the time. I have since I was a child. I love doing things for others. Especially when I know my actions are truly appreciated. People get caught up in the details of their lives and forget to look around, smell, listen. There are so many things to be grateful for. Even before losing my little boy last year, I have told people they need to appreciate their children and not get caught up in the little things that can be fixed. My Hero has been gone for 19 months and there is not a day that goes by I don't wish I could go back to what used to be "my happy place". Thank you :)

Yes I do. Gratefulness will lead you to where you want to be. Because without this character, helps and provisions for you might stop. Simply because you don't know how to be grateful. And it only shows that you are not humble enough to say it so who will help you anyway. That's why even with my kids, I always remind them to be thankful especially to out God.

I am grateful all the time and especially to God for everything in my life. However I sometimes feel ungrateful because I feel like I am not thinking about it all the time that I should be thanking people more often for what they do for me or just for the fact that they are in my life. I guess there is a balance in everything. If I said thankyou all the time I guess that could be annoying too.

I try to show gratefulness when ever and how ever I can. Thank you does come out of my mouth all the time. I my opinio if a thank you is not expressed it means rudeness. So many people want to be in the fast lane they don't wnat to bother with this phrase. I try to enjoy life and give respect when ever I can.

hello,in my opinion i dont believe that gratfullness is in just saying the word "thank you" i believe in acts more than words.many times i dont say anyword to someone who did a favor to me but it is seen in my eyes in my acts when i have the opportunity to give back the favor

There are some people I feel grateful all the time, people who had guided me and helped me in leading life in the right way. That included my parents, my teachers of primary, middle, and high school, and universities. And, now as I continue on in my career, there have been many who had helped me in choosing the right path. It is all because of their help that I am having a happy life today ! I shall never forget that !

I don't show enough gratefulness, but I hope all my friend's know I appreciate them. =) And it's not corny! It's lovely. And people who say it's corny are probably just not used to being appreciated, so appreciate them more! It's a great way of building confidence in your friends and making them more self aware. =D

I think it is a minimum courtesy that as a human being one should have! I am always grateful to the people who helped me at the time of my crisis. i always remember them, reciprocate them and make them realise that their contribution in my life has palyed a major role. I always convey my sincere Thanks in words. If possible I try to present them with an appropriate gift as a mark of respect and when time comes I am always there to do my level best to help them. Thus I feel that being a human being it is our duty to realise and appreciate the favour received from others . for this right from saying simple but sincere thanks to reciprocating at the time when it is required by them is the best policy! Thanks!

Well to be honest I'm not that kind of person that says thank you a lot to people. Especially to my family, because yeah its kinda corny. And I think they know I'm already grateful to them, most of the time I just make the people feel how grateful I am instead of saying it.lol. But I am grateful to God, everyday I thank Him for all the blessings He has given to me and to my family.
