Would you switch cable companies because of on demand?

We recently switched television companies because we found out that Verizon was offering a deal with phone, internet, and cable. We already had phone and internet through Verizon but not the television. When we first signed up with Verizon we had t.v. but it was through direct t.v. and the satellite kept going out. Then we switched to dish network. We were pleased with them but my mom was on the phone with verizon and it is much cheaper for us to have verizon for all three. So now we have Verizon FIOS television. I love the Verizon FIOS television because they offer on demand. Free on demand as well. I have been able to watch shows that I have missed at any time. I have also been able to watch shows that I don't normally watch because I was busy at that time. I also love it because I can fast forward, pause, stop, play, and rewind. Verizon gave us about three months of almost all the movie channels. The only two movie channels we don't have are HBO and Cinemax. Now that we have the movie channels we get the on demand movie channels for free. So for the last couple of days I have been watching shows and movies like crazy. I love movies but haven't had the money to rent any. So I have watched a few on demand and a few on live tv on the actual movie channels. I missed my favorite show the office last night because I fell asleep. Now it is not a big deal because I can watch it on demand. CSI used to be my favorite show but I stopped watching it for two different reasons. First of all Grissom left, and second of all The office comes on the same night and same time. Now that I have on demand I can watch CSI whenever I want. I love on demand.

No. The only reason I would switch is because I heard that Verizon FIOS, in general, is better than DirecTV and/or Dish Network. I have DirecTV right now, and I don't hate it, but when we have bad whether, the cable goes out, and it is super expensive. FIOS, surprisingly, is actually cheaper than DirecTV, internet, and your phone in a bundle pack. I am still waiting for FIOS to come to my area because the minute it does, I am switching to it.

I hate when I hate Direct TV because when I did the satellite signal went out on a daily basis. When we switched to Dish, they were much better and the satellite signal hardly ever went out. Yes it is cheaper with a bundle pack which is what we have.

That was the complete opposite for my cousin and me. She had Dish Network, and her cable was constantly going out because of it, and when we switched to DirecTV we didn't have as many problems as we did with Dish.

I love On Demand. I don't have time to watch things sometimes and the ondemand option lets me watch things when I can. Movies and shows are all there when I get a chance to sit down. I don't think it would do me any good to have cable without on demand. I would never get a chance to watch it.
