Anyone know what cashgopher is??

I got an email from this site actually that I could sign up with cashgopher but I am so weary about installing anything to my computer. Does anyone know what it is and have you tried it before?? Has it given anyone any problems at all with their computer as far as viruses and payout or anything? If someone could respond or even just message me here I would really appreciate it and thanks for reading.

I got the same email.. and I downloaded the software. Tried to start it but it didn't get started. I will post here if I get any ideas.

I'm the same I got the email that it was this great new program that will make you good money but download the software. Any time I get anything that says download it I am very cautious because last time I did that I got a really bad virus that made my computer crash and it took a lot to get it working again. Just use caution when downloading things like this or do like we all are here and ask questions about it before you actually go and install so you can save yourself some time and money fixing what breaks.

Cashgopher ask you to install it's spyware software that is supposed to monitor all the web activity we have and pay for that. The software is constantly communicating with their servers (it calls a soap webservice every 5 seconds to be more precise).
The bad part is that it's a scam. It pays you NOTHING. Actually, I was using it, and after having it running for 2 months between 4-8 hours daily they credited me 2 cents (yes, only 2 cents). So, it's not worth the risk and the effort of even installing it.
Also, if you're looking for objetive opinions on it, I sugest that you search outside of MyLot. Cashgopher is from the same owner, and they may be doing some "moderation" on the comments on it. I'm no saying that they're actually doing, but it "may be".

Thank you all so much for the responses and I am so glad that I asked about it before actually installing it. I am so glad I did this because it would really have been a mistake for me to do it. I can't believe it only paid you two cents for all that time of work you put in it. Well I think I will stick to what I am doing here and not even bother with the cash gohper thing it sounds like a big scam. Thank you guys again for all the help and tips I really appreciate it very much.

yes i tried cashgopher so it a system sponsorised by mylot!It works really simple such as you need only install their software on your pc and ensure you that when you are active on yourpc the cashgopher software works and stop...afterthat you can check your daily earnings on cashgopher profile!!You should do almost nothing and so earnings are not enough for the moment may eb for people comng from us the ssytem work better!!Personally i disinstalled the software from my pc because the system was not for me you cna try it and see if for you is ok or not!!

i also have doubts on those kind of things that you need to install on your computer. it is very risky and you might just bring viruses. if many have already said that it is a scam, dont hesitate anymore, just dont download it.

LOL I feel bad saying it but I agree with you and I think that you should definitely delete it. I have heard such bad things about it and I don't know if it is related to this site or not and if it is sorry mylot but I just don't trust it after all the bad reviews I have read.

i can't really say to much about it, except for the fact, I couldn't even install it on my laptop. I tried and tried, but it just wouldn't work for me. It could be that I am using Windows 7, as it might not be compatible with it. Now, my dsktop has Windows XP, and it might work there, but I just never ever tried it. I really don't like things running in the background on my computer, as at one time, I had Gomez Peer installed, and I never got activated there after 2 months, so I just gave up on t and uninstalled it. I am not going to bother with cahsgopher at this point, but those that are making money with it, I wish them luck. Take care, and happy mylotting.
