What do you prefer?

When thinking about pie what do you prefer? Do you like to buy the room tepm kind in a bakery? Frozen kind you heat up at home? Or do you like to make it yourself from scratch?
I like the frozen when I feel lazy. But I prefer to make it myself because I have control over the what goes in it.
I really do NOT like the bakery room temp ones who knows how long its been sitting there , it could be 3-4 days old since it was baked fresh or frozen.
Let me know what YOU prefer!

I like apple pie and its weird because some places think it needs to be cold. I like it warm with some vanilla ice cream on top so it melts and makes a soupy mess. I'm not a baker, or candle stick maker, I can heat a pie up though. I'd rather get a frozen one and turn on the oven and let modern science do the job I can't.

I do my own cooking from scratch. Usually the only food that is as good or better than my cooking is so expensive that I cannot afford it. I do not like frozen baked food. A cake or pie has to be eaten at the right moment (that is warm or ciold dependsding what it is but FRESH!!!)

Honestly I'm not a fan of pie. Though I'll say though I do look at the "sell by" dates on the room temp pies ect as usually the one with the later sell by date is the fresher pie if you think about it. Plus I know they make many of the pies this time of year daily as they tend to sell out. Though if I liked pie enough I'd make it myself, but the only ones I like are the no bake pies and even then you don't always know what's in it.

I don't konw which I will prefer ,coz I never cook at my family.anther reason is that I am so stupid that I can't cook although I learned that ,at last the end of failure come ,lol.so I also dinner at the restaurant three meals everyday.

It is really not hard to cook, I can't imagine eating all three meals out. That jut sound unhealthy. You should pick up some cook books for a libary for simple meals and experiment.

i don't know....
i don't think i have a specific type if pie since we don't have it often. We eat the one they sell at Mcdonald, apple or pumpkin.

I love to bake, so I like homemade ones. My mom makes really good apple pie, so I'd choose that over frozen or bakery haha. I think the frozen ones are nice for days when you want a dessert and are just too tired to put all the work into them. I like the taste of most frozen pies over the bakery ones. The bakery ones that I've had usually seem kind of bland and flavorless. I don't mind the bakery ones, they just would be at the bottom of my pie list.

I never buy pies i always make my own. I see some good looking baked things at the grocery but i never buy them. I cook most everything from scratch.
