Do you pray before going to bed?

We all believe in God. We believe The Almighty's omnipresence around us. However hard it may be, be it any situation we pray Him to help us. I always pray in my mind before I go to bed, and even after taking bath. Do you pray before going to bed?

Well once I had a cat I really loved. One day it was missing and I couldn't find it.I prayed that it would come back.Turns out it couldn't come back because it was got run over by a car(I found the body) Guess you could call that "God's Will" if it was God's Will sucks...

I believe in god, but honestly speaking i never pray before going to bed. I used to when i was kid. I know it is a good habit, praying to god before sleep and thanking for such wonderful day. Thank you dante_off you reminded me i am ignoring the most important work. From now onwards i am surely going to pray before i sleep. Thanks a lot

Yes thats what I wanted, I want people to have faith on a supreme power, it gives us a very positive attitude towards life. We feel like we are never alone, and be it any situation, we are always ready and confident to face it. After all He is the one who has created us, He loves us, so isn't it our duty to love Him in return. Let God bless all. ~cheerio~

God has truly blessed me in my life and for that I pray first thing when I wake up and then again before going to bed. He has helped me see all my dreams come true especially when I needed them to. Praying twice a day makes me feel good deep down inside my heart and soul. It makes me feel more connected then ever to God.

Feels like you quite strongly believe in God, a very true theistic attitude. Its even good for your body, when you are contended with something your body metabolism increases/regulates well. So good health too. Thanks for sharing. ~cheerio~

I do pray for reminding myself about the existing of GOD. I my mind, God may not help us all the while. We must put in our own effort in achieving a good fruitful result. There was a Malay student in my high school. He failed in his examination. He had to resit the examination so that he could be promoted to the higher level. As what I heard from his father, he spent most of his time to pray, to seek the help from his God to let him passed the examination. He failed again in his second trial. In this case, do you think God can assist you without putting the effort from your side?

Not everyone believes in a god. I think you're over-generalizing quite a bit. I don't pray before I go to bed. I did when I was little but not really to anyone in particular.

Ya spend just a moment for the prayer from your heart, you will find yourself feeling better with days. One thing I came to realize from prayers: It teaches us Acceptance, a very effective part of everybody's life. ~cheerio~

I used to pray before sleeping but not anymore. I guess I've lost faith and all but I still believe in Jesus Christ.

You have lost faith? May I know why. You believe in Jesus Christ, then how have you lost your faith?

Hello! As much as possible I pray not only before going to bed but whenever I remember no matter where I am and when it is. I talk to God in my mind like a father or like a best friend, I know He always listens, understand me very well and know what's really in my heart more than me. ^_^

Thats very pessimistic. I too believe a lot. The same here, even I talk to myself feeling I am talking to Him. Relaxes me a lot when in tension or stressed, and also thank Him whenever I find success in anything that I do. ~cheerio~

my grandma always do that every night . as for me .frankly i won't spend standard time being asleep ,i think it's time wasting .maybe it's because that i am too glad to make fun . i mean GOd spare me even single second to pray before going to bed . it often happens that i am too tired to stay up and then i go to bed ,i lay me down then fall asleep ,maybe after several seconds . it's my bad habit ,i think so . God bless me !

Oh, time isn't an excuse. Just think about the day and pray to God that he has given you yet another good day.
