when you have finished typing your discussion or response and then you click 'Submit Discussion/Response' and then it comes to a blank page that says 'Bad Response'... When you refresh the page again, the discussion or response that you had typed all gone and you have to re-type it again... It happens to me a few times already during the past few days and it annoys and frustrates me because of the time and effort wasted... Do you experience this as well??? How do you handle this??? For me, now everytime after I finish typing a discussion or response, I copy it first so that if something like this happens again, I won't lose my work... How about you??? Please share your experience... Thanks in advance for responding... Take care everybody and have a nice day...

It happens to me a lot. Its really annoying. So to avoid this i copy paste my work before submitting. I wish that the admins could do something about these errors.

This is still happening here, and has actually happened for me quite a bit just this month. It can be quite annoying when this happens especially at the times you are really in a myLot posting mood as well. Wish when they were having problems with this site, there was a notice or something that would pop up for us to let us know so we would not have to continue to endure these things for sure.

I do the same thing as you. I copy it first. That way if something goes wrong with the submission I can always resubmit it. Before I was able to use this feature, I lost my "work" quite a few times. It got downright frustrating at times, especially when it was a long discussion or response. Believe it or not, there were actually times I would retype it the best I could from memory, and then there were times I'd just give up and pass on responding completely. I am so glad I don't have to worry about such a thing anymore. Because I sure did hate it. LOL Happy mylotting!

Hi. lingli_78. Yes, this has happened to me many of times while posting. I usually will copy and paste the discussion if this happens though. I have broadband connection and the connection tends to act up every now and then. But for some reason, it saves my work when I hit post comment/response. I guess the system picks it right on up. I am then able to tag my discussion then. I don't like to lose any work that I have written, especially when I have taken my time to write it all out. It can be very annoying.

I don't think this has ever happened to me...But good thing because I would be SO IRRITATED! Especially if it was a long, heart-felt and thoughtful discussion...It would be too hard to try to re-type everything. Gah

Yes it's really annoying when our discussion come blank or for some reason we can't post it. Many times happen with me. First time it always bother me but now it's ok. As i also do same like. After finish typing i just do copy and if it gone away then i past it. Otherwise it's really bother same things write in long time and again and again. I think we should say thanks that at least we can copy or past our own discussion. Good luck!

Hi Lingli.. After a break, i just came here.. so its new to hear that when one submits..it lead to error message as " BAD RESPONSE" Just to overcome this, and to avoid typing again.. you just install the "GREASEMONKEY SOFTWARE" IN TO YOUR FIREFOX.( IF YOU USE FF) It will keep in memory of the last typed page. I have given the link here.. ( JUST REMOVE THE SPACE AFTER https: ) https: //addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/748/ Hope this helps you friend. _________________________________ Tc Saivenkat

It just happened to me I had a nice long response to your discussion and boom...internet explorer can not display this page It might even happen again so I am going to try your idea and copy this discussion first. If it does happen..I'll add to the next post that it did. I usually don't have it happen but when it does...it's usually when I have a long response which is very irritating. I sometimes just rerespond with a shorter response than I would have originally but I think I will try to start copying my responses too...just so I don't lose them. Great idea!

I've experienced this before and fret not, I have a solution. If it exhibits bad request, you turn back to the previous page, where you put your respond, it should still display your respond. Otherwise, the other method would be to copy your respond and then when the message comes up, refresh and then paste again. I assume that you know when you can actually do copy and paste here right?

This often happens to me since I got a very lazy net connection. So what I do is to make also a copy of my response before pressing submit so i could just paste it when there would be any trouble on my connection. But here is the best part.lol.i have not yet reached the minimum rating required so i would be allowed to use copy paste. And just like what always happen I retyped this response.

Does not annoy me all that much because it does not happen that much. However it does trouble. When I remember to, I do have a Microsoft Word document opened so I can copy and paste my response to that. That way if something happens, like the website going down in mid response, I can save it. Thankfully it does not happen all that often for me, but perhaps I'm lucky.

I can't imagine if I was in that situation. but I think when we're got a really bad things, keep to think clearly and get calm. because in my life experienced the bad things is not what the bad as we've looked about that. enjoy!

it hasn't happened to me yet. But I'm new here, so I don't really know how all of this works. I mean this is only my third response so far. But I have problems with paypal . like i have no idea how to enter my paypal account here. It says I should just edit the payment information, but there's no "enter your paypal acoount" option there. just name and country. and also , on the bottom of the page it says to choose if I'm american or not. I choose no, but there's no "save changes" button, so as soon as i leave the page and then come back again it's back to "haven't chosen". does this happen to you?

I experienced that many times. I am so frustrated after spending sometime thinking and typing and when I submit my write up, the screen suddenly turn blank and refreshing it only disappoint me more as all that has been typed vanished. Like you I am now forced to copy it first and this save me lots of time.

Yes, this has happened to me as well and I do the same thing that you do...I copy what I have just typed so that I don't have to retype everything all over again if it doesn't go through. Fortuntely, it doesn't happen very often, which is a good thing considering all of the activity on this site every day.
