What is your most hated chore?

For me it depends on the season I guess. In the winter I hate sticking my hands under the water to do dishes. In the summer it's nice rinsing them and getting my hands cool. Because I have to rinse in cold water. But in the summer I think it's laundry. The kids get so dirty in the summer and dirty so many clothes, playing outside. So what chore do you cringe to do around the house..and you can't just say all of them lol. No one really likes to clean. We do it because we like it to be clean.

Yes I guess that one is on my list too. It isn't fun. But it's done quick.

Well, for me , ironing long sleeve shirts is my most dreaded chore. I used to like ironing when I was much younger but now with 2 kids and hubby having to wear long sleeve shirts to work from Monday to Friday, I really dread the ironing of the shirts. I will normally let the shirts pile up until I can't take it anymore and iron at least five shirts in one go.

I have to say that my most hated chore is putting the laundry away after I have folded it. I do not know why I hate it so much, but I cannot stand to do it. I don't mind washing, drying, or even folding it, but I simply HATE putting it away once it is folded. My wife knows this, so if she is home, she will usually put it away after I get it folded...

I actually never mind doing the laundry because it isn't a task that requires my full attention. However, I always hate doing the dishes if I am not able to use a dishwasher because of the fact that it makes the skin on my hands dry and sore. I would rather do anything else that has to be done around the house than to have to do the dishes. So, I guess you can send your laundry to me during the summer and I'll send my dishes to you.

I hate the laundry thing though I am the one doing it, but with the help of the washing machine. Doing it using my hands, i hate it. Whenever I do that, everything on my body is aching. I really don't know but I really hate washing clothes using my hands especially if it's white clothes or shirt.

i love doing household chores especially washing clothes, dishes and other cleaning jobs that involves water. I guess its because i like the cooling effect of water especially im leaving in tropical country where it always feels like summer. And the one thing that i cringe when doing this chore is ironing the clothes because of the heat. So when I do the ironing, I make it a point to do it at night and in an air conditioned room to always keep me cool:)

I hated ironing and also getting the burnt stuff off of pans. I was so happy when they invented no iron clothes because when I had to iron my skirts and blouses and I put them on, they wrinkled. And with burnt on food, it was hard to scrape them off if you could not put them on the element filled with water, vinegar, and baking soda. Or and baking sheets, the oil stuck on them was hard to get off. I now buy parchment paper and that cuts down, but one of my sheets is rusted through and I do not want to throw it away,

I don't like washing the dishes too. Though I like cooking but hate the aftermath of cooking where there are many utensil to be washed. I relegated the duties of washing to my daughter and she willingly take up the chore. Another household chore that I don't fancy is sweeping the floor. I find it quite boring going all over the house to sweep up the dust but because it is a good exercise for me I just do it for the dual benefits I gain. The house is clean and I firm up my muscles a bit.

Laundry has to be what I procrastinate most at, but also just general organizing. I should go through my papers (which are in a drawer, but not organized any further than that). I have to be in a certain mood to be organizing and doing everyone's laundry. I usually will wait a couple of weeks - until I'm almost totally out of clothes (LOL) to do my laundry. Dishes, vacuuming, I can handle. But laundry..Ugh! lol

Doing the dishes, for sure. I just think it is so boring and my hands get so dry and horrible afterwards.

I think washing the dishes. There are a lot to wash here. We have no dish washer. We do it manually. My hands are not soft anymore because of the soap. I have to apply lotion more often.
