Although I have read all the books, I really can't say which is my favorite. I really enjoyed reading all 7 of them.

I think I'd have to say all of them as well. There are particular chapters in each that I especially enjoyed but, its the gestalt of the series that kept my interest for all those years.

Hi ellebj! I have read all the books and it's really difficult to pin point which is my favorite. I guess it's the same as yours - Goblet of Fire. It was one of the books that were suggested to be split into two but they didn't do it, despite the requests of fans all over the world. Anyways, it was a fun-filled, action-packed book after the first 3 books. :) It's also where I found one of my favorite quotes by Sirius Black - "If you want to know what a man is like, take a look at how he treats his inferiors, not his equals."

I also enjoyed reading Goblet of Fire more compared to the other books. It had a lot of adventures and mysteries and I was really glued to reading it till the end. It was just sad that they had to delete a lot of important parts in the movie.

I've read the whole series and i like them all. But i think i like the last series best because its the culmination of all the things that has happened to the boy who lived! hope the movie version is great as well.

For me it's the first one. The adventure began here, afterall. And by the time you've finished the entire series, you'll get to appreciate the Sorcerer's Stone most. Another thing is, it's the only book without brutal actions from its characters, I think?

I agree with you, my favorite book in the series is also the 4th one. In this book, Harry has to face lots face lots of challenges and undergo a spat in his and ron's friendship. I liked the tournament and how Harry figures out how to do each test with a little help from here and there.

I never actually finished reading the seventh book been meaning to though. I would have to say I enjoyed the younger Harry Potter. He had too much of a character change as the books went a long I believe.

Hi ellebj: I have read the whole serie a lot of time and for me the best book it's the 5th one. Maybe that's because I was waiting for that book so impatiently at this moment but when I first read it I really enjoy it and I can feel how excited I was with the plot of the book. I really hate Umbridge. Thanks for asking us this question. Have a nice day. ALVARO

I love all the harry potter books but I have to agree with you, The Goblet of fire is my favorite. Its like a transition for harry potter from young less serious tasks suddenly faced a big challenge. I also loved the plot where his godfather was introduced and the Idea that the Dursleys are kind of afraid of hurting or locking his books from hogwarts because they were scared that Sirius would kill them. LOL! I loved the idea also that there are a lot of wizard school from all over the world. That not only hogwarts existed but there are other schools as well. Oh I love Harry potter so much. I keep on reading again and again. even if I already know the story. I would probably read it to my baby.
