The Worst Anime Ever

If you have not watched Neon Genesis Evangelion, do not ever try to watch it. In the beginning it is a cool anime. It is very interesting and the drawing is nice to but as it goes on it turned out to be some crazy anime. The scenes are so weird and it will make you confuse and distracted. I even had nightmares about it.

I think it is not fair to call something the worst. You should have at least added "for me" in the title. Some people like it, some people don't. We all have preferences. I liked it, for one. We do not have the right to generalise that this anime is the worst based only on the premise that one person did not like it. :) Cheers!

Indeed.. watched the first 2 episodes of Elfen Lied last night. I have seen only 2 of the episodes since I read your post at about 2 am haha I was watching Criminal Minds prior to that.
Rumiko Takahashi did good with Mermaid Saga I think :)
I also watch comedy animes like Ranma 1/2, School Rumble, Azu Manga Daioh, etc :)
Oh I super like psycho stuff haha trying to figure out things and such. :)

I was upset with Ranma 1/2's ending.... After following it all episodes and all...Thats it.... I think most likely you enjoy art films too... The only thing I love from EVA would be the opening theme and "fly me to the moon" I like those songs.
I think most people who loves Psycho stuff have very IQ's since their brains can handle them and understand all those symbolisms. The anime I was currently watching is Naruto but I kinda dislike the direction the show is going to, you know the fillers.

I bet you never watched it... basically this anime is insane psychotic, A boy killed his mother and sister after watching evangelion. It wont appeal to kids or teenagers, Its for Adults who lvoes to watch those Psychological art movies.

If you say so. I'm not really interested into those kinds of anime. They're robots, right? Although i know there are cute female characters there so i think i'll take a peek. If i don't like it, i'll never watch it again.

they have robots in which the pilot get inside and merge his mind and body. Yeah the ladies there are cute.

Go for it. I can't stand mecha anime but Evangelion is one of my favorite series.

Even if we are just dealing with the confusing and very open ending, Evangelion is far FAR from the worst anime ever. Let's just start with the heavy fan service anime and move up from there.
While I don't think Evangelion is anywhere near the have all be all of anime, I think it is pretty good. I don't like the ending, the fact that the main character is a whines for most of the show, or a few other things. But there is so many worse shows out there.

i dont believe its the worst ever . NGE sure is weird , characters are twisted sometimes . There are lots out there that are far worst . Its just that different ppl have different preferences when it comes to anime .

well, mine is "Pichi, Pichi, Pitch". (did i spell it right?) the drawing is GREAT AND AWESOME. i love the characters ('coz you know, they are mermaids) and everything except the plot. I mean, i am not bitter or what, it's just that it talks ABOUT LOVE all the time. love. love. love. for me, that is so LAME.

I watched some of its episodes because my niece likes it, and I have no choice but to let her watch because she likes it. I have to agree with you the plot is weak, but the drawing is nice. They are singing right? they sing to defeat the enemy?

Great anime. Make sure to watch the movie "The End of Evangelion", which is the real ending. It replaces the last 2 episodes and clears up (almost) everything.

Well I totally disagree with you on this one. Neon genesis evangelion is one of the greatest anime ever created.
It has a deep storyline and robot fightint to boot.
You cannot go wrong with this one.

I don't get Eva at all, but no doubt the crazy fanbase will no doubt start leaving comments of how the show is so great, it just didn't grab me at all.

LOL. I agree it Evangelion could be confusing, but I didn't hate it. If anything, I think it just tried too hard to be "deep." I enjoyed the anime, but it's not one of my top favorites. I'm not usually drawn to robot/gundam type anime, but Eva was really intriguing! I'd definitely watch it again, but there were hardly any characters I could stand (ironically, most notably Shinji, but I also hated Asuka). What I hate most about Eva is the fandom that makes such a big deal about the deeper meaning of this anime. After a while I'm just like, "whatever. Give it a rest."

I would still suggest that others should watch it, and let them judge whether they fancy it or not. We would want them to make decisions for themselves, wouldn't we?

That show confused the heck out of me too,Its like watching a 65 episode art film and I cant stand art films,there is too much Psychological scenes that only a a person with IQ of 300 would understand,Maybe a mathematician can figure out it's story,Its only good in the beginning. There is an anime known as Elfen lied its very violent and brutal but people appreciated and praised it because of good story and character development. the protagonist is evil but you can fully hate her because you will see why she turned evil. It has nuudity (but no sexx) and lots of violence but the story and the character development is good, It plays with emotions.
I have nothing against Psychological scenes but if ever scene is a psychological scene it doesn't make sense and its torturing to watch.
