That is what friendly game for. The friendly game is something like try and error thing. The manager can pick any player he want and probably try all new faces at once and try some new tactics and see where he cacn go from there. Win or lose is not something to concern that time. It is all about testing. Every team need a plan B or C or even D if they want to go far in any competition. So far England only have plan A and their plan B or C never work. so this is the best time to experimenting this. England need new player in all position and the friendly game is the best way to give the possible next England regular a game and a taste of international football.

I think it is a big result for France. I think this is the best thing that Laurent Blanc could have hoped for after taking over a team in turmoil. So though this is a real bad result for England, it is really a good one for France. Cheers! Ram

big results not only for france but for benzema... once again benzema show his ability...he can pass many defenders before shoot and goal...

It is definitely a setback for the three lions. I think this result will be a wake up call for them. Bring them down to earth and let it be known to them that they are not as good as they think they are. While this is harsh, it will have a good long term effect. The day when England knows they are lousy, is the day where they will start to improve.

I haven't seen the game, so I don't know how the teams have performed. But I know that these friendly games, which were the last from this year were good for coaches to test young players to see what are they capable of. It is always frustrating to be beaten at home, especially from an arch rival, but the most important thing was to see new player representing their country. If Fabio Capello is satisfied, then it means that the young spuds like you mentioned have made their job good.

i see the highlights... england had many chances from their captain in that match, steven gerard.. it seems that stevie G work alone...he doesnt got many support from his friends.. so i think france deserve to win in this match..

Yes, France beat England on Wembley Statium. A big surprise for everyone, but then english team missed 4-5 good players like Lampard, Rooney, Terry and Defoe. So it's not a surprise that France won the game at all. England doesn't have enough top plays to beat France missing 4 players.

ya....i know that england is lost their best player when england meet french.. but i think it`s not a strong reason.. england had many young talented player like in james milner, adam johnson, theo wlcot, andy carrol, jack wilshere.. why capello doesnt trust a young players??
