When I find that I need to know how to fix things I look on the net. It is a world of information. I am trying to teach my husband how to use the net so he can figure out how to do or what to do when he needs to fix something he has no knowledge of. So do you use the net to figure out things? Do you know you can find all kinds of ways to fix things on the net?

Yes very good point, you can also ask for help on the net also. Someone will answer you and help you out.

Hi Dheerajlko. The net is a good place to find all kinds of info. I love being able to read the bible online and hear my preacher everyday online. It is a great tool. Thanks for sharing.

Some time ago my ex-boyfriend and I had some problems with the sink in the bathroom. My ex-boyfriend wanted to call someone who could fix it for us, but I said: "No wait, maybe I can find some information on the internet and fix it myself", "Hmm, are you sure that is a good idea?" he asked "Yes, it is much cheaper to fix the problem on our own, let me see what I can find" On the internet I found a detailed description and a very good drawing, I followed the description and took the faucet apart. I was very proud of myself...and then I realized that I wasn't able to assemble it again and we had to call a plumber anyway The internet is a great place to find information, but I have learned to be a little more careful when I use the information that I find

Hi Porcospino. That must have been a problem but the good thing about fixing a faucet it is easy done. Hope it didn't cost too much. Sorry you wasn't able to get your faucet fixed. I find things on the net on how to fix things all the time and never seem to have a problem. Good luck on your next project.

Hi Calpro. I don't use the net for banking or anything like that. But I do use it to find out how to do things. Thanks for sharing my friend.

sometimes, but most of the time i surf the net without a target ,it's just for something new that i can find out that makes the net different compared to all other how to methods that you find through out you like from books , by asking people or from the place of purchase, the nets an unlimited hot spot of knowledge!!!

Hi Arkhan and welcome to my lot. The things I like fixing are sometimes old stuff that no one makes any more so it is easier for me to look on the net. I love being able to find out things that I can't seem to find anywhere else. I love having the net to look up things. Thanks for sharing.
