What do you prefere: discussions or small talk? Some discussions at MyLot seems of too little meaning to call discussions. Do you agree?

I would much rather have a discussion. The people here could share ideas and cultures.I would like to learn how people live in other countries. Some of the discussions here are just trivial and of no real substance.

You right. I start another discussion about the age to retire. In the UK, they have picked a year by which the age to retire is lifted. Somewhere in 2040 people should be older to retire. Which is i.e. in accordence with the fact that people get older.

I agree, which isn't by the way good for discussion. But to ask how old people are, or to know how high, isn't at all relevant to no one.

Discussions. They are much more meaningful and you learn more about people. Small talk is just superficial things.
