Thank you for sharing some of the tradition you have. I was wondering if the milk is poured out before the god, or if it is left there in the containers? I guess I just wondered what would happen to all the brass if they left them there...is this a yearly event? What is its purpose? (like to receive blessing or prosperity?)

I visited Malaysia when I was 21 years old. I was on my trip around the world. I went to Kuala Lumpur however I didn't go the Batu Caves. They sound really beautiful and interesting caves. I am fascinated by religious ideas. I hope that some My Lot members have the chance to go there. Have you visited any other caves in the world? I went to the ATM caves in Belize. had to swim into the cave, do much climbing and be careful not to tread on any of the Mayan pottery. It was an amazing experience. I have been to some beautiful caves in the Blue Mountains region of Australia.
