well they are called High Yield Investment Programs for a reason. The trick I have learned about HYIPs so far is that you should try to find sites with a lot of security because the more security they have the longer they have to be available. I could recommend 3 good HYIPs that I know of that pay.

The concept of HYIP is unstable, they use the money people invest to pay other peoples interest/gain - so eventually they will run out of money to pay thier investors.

I think downwindz's comment sums it up best; they are basically ponzis. I must admit i have joined a number of them and profit from some before they ran out(or rather run off)of money. It is important to understand they run on cycles. Approach hyips like speculators of penny stocks and day traders: 1Diversify 2Do your homework about hyips 3Know when to get in and when to get out. Also, referrals always help.

HYIP is not a legit system of generating any income. Most of the HYIP sites are scam. At first they pays but in later time they run away with the money invested by the members. My suggestion is not to invest any big amount on these type of sites, but it is better to follow few strategies to be more safe on these sites. If you are so much interested in these type of sites than always follow monitor sites. Monitor sites are those sites which give few details about any HYIP sites. You can refer to a good monitor and be careful to choose any HYIP site.

I know it has been said before but there is one stable HYIP that I invest in. Rather, it should be considered a LYIP or low yield program. The owner's investment strategy is transparent(to me at least) and does not promise unrealistic daily yields. To be honest she dosen't promise any daily yields, just weekly projections. No crazy Forex, stock,or MLM schemes. Check out my profile for a link.
