I am depressed right now. I want to help my family financially but I can't because I also have my own family to support. I feel frustrated because of the current status of the global economy. When did this start? Why does it not end. Everyday I look online to find job abroad hoping it could be my ticker to help my family back home and invest for our future. But seems like economy in the world are all paralyzed for I don't know what reason. My boss, who is in a real estate business is also suffering and I always pray everyday everything will turn out fine so she will be happy, I will be happy and there's a job for me always. Hope this neverending problem will be resolved so everyone can breathe again and move forward.

Hi clouds! I think it's a global phenomenon. What you are experiencing is what we are too and I'm sure many others across the globe are experiencing as well. There may be others who may be very much worse off than us and likewise. If we can't help financially we can always help with sweat, or give our opinions to alleviate the misery or simply be there as a moral support. Let's continue to do right no matter how small it may be. And let's continue to have hope. Take care!

Everyone of us is experiencing problems so don't worry, you are not alone. And to make things lighter, think that the Lord had suffered much than what we are suffering and He already overcame those things. In short, what else can we not overcome? Just keep the faith because our God is rich and He will never allow us to suffer without any rewards in the end if only we will be faithful. So just keep the faith and keep on praying..the blessings will come.

I think this is happening to everybody. Part of the reason is that the cost of oil and allowing certain nations to produce and not others. There is also speculation. Here in Canada our oil and gas are not blocked as they are in the States nor are they going into green energy by using ethanol that much unlike in the States, where many corn fields are used for ethanol - and from what I heard with the price of corn going up, there goes the cost of buying meat, esp. pork and also poultry, and also the cost of food, the cost of transportation, etc. I have problems that have to do with finances as well like you and not like you. I want to help out, but cannot do to the extent others want me to. It seems when you become a widow, you get mixed messages that either you can afford something, or you need financial help. And if you have saved money for something, they think because you did that, you can at least afford to -- I get the message that I better watch my pennies, lower my credit card limit (I finally got through to my son that when you ask for a lower credit card limit it is assumed you are afraid of going on a spending spree and now he has stopped trying to get me to do it0 and then when I got shopping, I get the message that I could take the taxi or a bus - if I had to watch my budget, how could I afford to take a taxi and did they ask it so that it would be easier on my feet or is it because "if you could afford to buy a -- you can take a taxi." And with all that worry that was affected my health. I looked at the mirror and saw that I was looking old, I have pre diabetes and am worried that it will turn on to the full blown thing, because when I worry I eat junk food. The trouble with this economy and the concern is that it does affect your health. You can only do so much and you should not be guilty about making your choices as to whether you can or are unable to help..

Ahh clouds everyone is feeling the strain right now of the financial crisis going on world wide. I am sorry that it is making you depressed. Try to insert positive things into your life and your families life. Instead of looking at the glass as half empty, try to look at it as half full. Whenever I get depressed over our financial difficulties I always make a mental list of all of the things that we have. We have shelter, food, clothing, water and transportation, my Fiance has a job and so does my older son. I have found these extra ways to make money online for free and still be at home with my 14 month old. These are all Blessings that I can be Thankful for. Whenever you feel bad start counting your Blessings and realize that its not all bad!

You're right. This financial crisis affects almost all over the world. And it's really frusrating not able to meet family needs. Good thing you still have work. I think it is more stressful for someone who is jobless and still have the same responsibilities. We can do nothing about the wideworld recession and financial dilemma. We can just hope for the best and wish we could overcome this soon.

Yeah, it is very hard to think that it will be difficult for us to find job for our family and for our future in the real world. But it would be so long for the economy of the world to recover. We would just have to work hard even more!

Hi, Don't be so depressed. Of course, everything needs money and every family will have own problem, especially when comes to financial issue. Due to inflation, everything is expensive now and we have to work harder to earn more money for living. it same goes to me, since I am not working and stay at home mother, I can only work from online jobs at home. MyLot is one of the source for me to earn some bucks for myself. I do hope one day , I can be out to work again to earn for my living and at least lessen my husband's burden.

Hi clouds, I know how you feel; I too, want to help my family but the economy is at its worst in many years and jobs are very difficult to hold on to or to come by. This situation with the economy didn't just happen overnight. We fed into the booming thriving economy and we let our guard down and got caught up into spending and living the "good life." It seems as if it happened suddenly, but it trickled in one day at a time and then the dam burst. Our failed economy is crippling all of us. This too shall pass, but it will take some time;years
