What's Wrong With The Number Of My Postings On Mylot ?

Hello.Mylotters :
I wonder if you have met with this problem .now i have no idea about the change in the number of my postings on Mylot -a decrease of 4 .just now i found that after i finished my first dicussion today .most of the time i prefer to make comments instead ,when it happened i thought perhaps it's because the discussions my responses are under had been deleted ,but when i went back to my Email to check it out i didn't find any mail from Mylot telling me about that .then i thought maybe it's because i had deleted part of mails from Mylot without reading them .
anyway it all still puzzles me .
so what exact reason has led to such a decrease ?

Hi mrpoker,
Yesterday I lost 5 posts in mylot and the reason is one member got banned/suspended in mylot. His membership is not exists and the posts I have replied for him also deleted. Usually I am getting the notification on a deletion but this time I didn’t get any information from mylot. I think mylot is not informing about the loss of posts due to account suspension.

Perhaps,i have also realized that .when discussions you have responded to have been deleted you will receive mails from mylot telling you about that .but if someone's account has beed suspended following with our whole comments on one's discussions being deleted ,we won't receive any mail informing of our loss because of one's membership suspension .

flagaz, I am not sure about the reason of suspension. But the user started so many topics in a day (approx 30 numbers) and many topics were similar.

OH YEAH. Actually I always recorded the number of my posts whenever I logged out. Yesterday, as I logged in, I noticed my number just the same with what I have the other day when I logged out. And yes, I lost 4 or 5 posts. I was supposed to make a topic on that, but since it's the first time it happened so I just ignore it. So when I see this post title, I opened it right away to see if we have the same problem, and so it was. I just hope this won't happen again.

And yes, I never saw a notification email informing that a message where I responded was deleted which is usually done by mylot. So Im also confuse what happened. Just to make a correction, I refer to my recorded post table and it was 4 posts that was deducted to my number of posts.

i have ever received several mails informing of some of my responses being deleted because for the very discussions in the same case .but i am sure a decrease of 4 in the number of my postings isn't because the discussions have been deleted .
it has happened in a flash .i submited my first discussion today and then i found that decrease by surprise .the whole four comments had just been made and were gone just like that .
it reamins to be seen ..

the only reason i can think of when this happen is your post has violated mylot rules and get deleted or you answer to a discussion that violate mylot rules and get deleted... but when this happens, usually i will get notifications in my e-mail... there is no other reason that i can think of why this happen... may be you can contact the admin directly and ask them directly if you are so curious... take care and have a nice day...

I think that the only reasons why your postings number would change is if the discussion you responded to, got deleted, or if one of the discussion topics that you posted got deleted. Sometimes I do not receive emails from mylot too. I am not sure if it is because of the spam filter of my email account or because of a backlog in the system of mylot.

To be honest I never pay attention to my post numbers at all. I use myLot as a hobby and do not want to get too subconscious about numbers and or money. Sometimes, there are delays that perhaps after the earnings get updated you will perhaps notice why the changes.

also to be honest i feel the same and i am here for fun more than cash .or else i shouldn't have responded here one by one again and again .what i want to tell is what's happening here .it's only one topic not another serious thing .

The myLot notifications are late sometimes, maybe you'll receive the notifications in your email box soon.
There is a chance that your posts were deleted because the discussion where you post them had their starter's account deleted.
This happened to me when one of my friends had his account suspended. All his discussions and comments were deleted, and all my comments related to his activity were deleted, too. But I didn't receive any notification about this matter.

if someone's account is deleted ,all our comments under his discussions will also be deleted !i call that unfair .here i never go against its rules .
generally speaking.mylot is the best community i have ever seen ,i like it .
thank for reminding me of that point .

Whenever there is a decrease in your posts, it is because it has been deleted, whether it was a discussion you started, or a response to another person's discussion, or whether you were commenting back. You should get mylot notifications to let you know when your posts have been deleted. I know I do, and most of the time before I get the notification, I knew the discussion would be deleted, because of a violation. It is just that I was trying to help someone and let them know what would happen to their discussion. It never is very much that I lose though, and it is easy to make back up. Just keep going and you will do fine, and you will have more before you know it. Good luck to you and happy mylotting.
