Why do some doctors work so hard and covering up their mistakes!

I had two strokes because a doctor prescribed the wrong blood pressure medication for me and didn't think it should be stopped, but doubled! So another dr from the same clinic comes into my room and says "If you don't change your life style this will happen again and you will end up in a nursing home for the rest of your life". I'd love to tell him that while eating my steak I take my meds and wash them down with beer! I have quiche for breakfast and eat sausage and cheese for lunch! Sheesh! He only wishes he could keep up with me! He never asked me what my lifestyle was! Sorry about the rant!

They stick together too..they say it's hard to win a malpractice as when they refer to their title it's Practicing Medicine! Like they say dear...what do they call the med student with the lowest grades in Medical school? They still call him a doctor! Hope you are feeling better!

I am sorry to hear that you got two strokes because of your doctor! Maybe you need to switch to a better doctor that listens to your needs & wants.
