Shoe Size

Philippines

Can anyone help me with the shoe size? The size of my poor big feet is 11. Here in the Philippines, I am consistently an 11-size. However, when i asked someone to buy me a Size 11W Payless Pump Shoes in the US, the shoe is a bit too long for me, the width though fits. I measured my feet again using a tape measure and my feet really is a size11. I had been planning on buying Payless shoes via the internet but Im just as adamant because 11 might be too big for me. There is a Payless Shoe Center here in the Philippines and I tried the size 11 heels and it was perfect for me. Are shoe sizes in Payless Shoe Center inconsistent? Or does the shoe size vary when you are wearing heels or flats? What do you think?

To get an accurate shoe size and solve your problem, just get to a shoe factory and get your real size measured-that way you not go wrong!

Hi Grace! I believe that US shoe sizes are different than in the Philippines. I actually tried searching online for some help. Here's a link (not a referral one) that tells the different shoe sizes: www.yesstyle.com/en/help/section.html/hsi.798#1551 Hope that will help you in a way. Good luck and I hope you get to buy your new pair of shoes soon! :)

Hi, Sometimes, the shoe size for one manufacturer may not exactly suit to another shoe manufacturer production. Be it is under the same country, but more or less, it will have slightly different. The best option to measure your shoes size is using a string...then pass that string to your friends or whoever you ask for help to buy a shoes for you. Then only the shoes size will fit your feet.

Grace beta My feet is 11 and half inch long, the shoe, sandals , slippers here in shops in my city are usually size 10, means for 10 inch long foot, i was told to place order via Bata India here, they gave me one size 11 after getting from their Kolkata HO, but it was too tight, the front portion of my foot are wider, next i got size 11 of Woodland, same problem. You may try to get your made in your city. Lastly i got them made by the chinese sho maker in my city, he is a family friend, the fitting is perfect, more over cost was much less compared to the branded ones. Thank you so much for this discussio. Professor. . Cheers have a lucky day ahead. God bless you. Welcome always.

I think you must try many shoes to find the suitable size with you. Because the size is different in different kind shoes.

hi, Always buy shoes after trying them.It is useless asking somebody else to buy shoes for you as this might make your feet very uncomfortable due to wrong fit! Also there are sizes depending on the region or country you live in i.e. U.S.,U.K. etc. So if you plan to buy shoes from U.S. , find out your U.S.size first. Happy feet to you !

I have to try all shoes before I buy them as I am a size women 8 in heels and in women gym shoes I am a 7, sometimes a 6 1/2 and find that depending on the style and or manufacturer they most times are bigger than my regular size. So I try to make it a rule to try all shoes and never order online as one time I did and had to return them 3 times and then ended up not getting anything at all as it was a real pain.

No, don't rely on the shoe sizes a lot. In fact, the shoes I bought from Payless vary according to brand. Being a size 10 and a half, I tried one in the Rock Port brand, and had to get a 8 size shoe in order for my feet to fit. All brands measure the size in inches differently, and I don't think there is a set length for shoe size. Its never been that way at Payless. Your best bet would be to try on the shoes at Payless and record the brands you buy. If such a brand is likable, you can buy a different model online in the same size from the U.S..
