Have you considered having cosmetic surgery?

Beauty nowadays come at a cost. I'm talking about the artificial one, of course. Beauty enhanced by plastic or cosmetic surgery. Once a taboo, cosmetic surgery has become really popular nowadays and more and more people are getting into it. Men and women go for minor things such as botox injections and laser hair removal to major ones such as liposuction, breast augmentation, etc. Personally, I wouldn't go for cosmetic surgery unless I get my face burnt (God forbid). What about you? Would you go for one? Is it worth it?

I think about plastic surgery every day, and have thought about it since I was very little. Sometimes, in cases where something will make you feel that much better about yourself, I think it could be the best thing for you. I have been lossing my hair since I was 16 and, if in the future a better hair restoration procedure comes out, I would gladly get it. I am also very fair skinned and have some early aging from sun damage and I think botox is a great preventitive procedure. I do not think it is healthy when you see people who go over board with botox and you can always tell when they do (i.e. Danielle Straub from the Real Housewives of New Jersey...she looks like a horse now). I think if you were smart about it, thought about it for a while, and make an educated decision on who you are going to, go for it! I have a feeling that in the near future I will not be able to move my forehead and I am sooo looking forward to that day.

In my dictionary, beauty is innate. It comes fro within. It radiates outward especially when we're happy and feel good about ourselves. It doesn't matter if the physical aspect of that beauty is natural or "enhanced" by cosmetic surgery. Like you, I believe that cosmetic surgery, if done the right way, can be a confidence booster, hence one can be more confident and feel better about him/herself. However, when people go overboard to the point that they get obsessed with plastic surgery and end up looking like wax sculptures, well, that's another story. Good luck, my friend. Cheers to beauty and happiness!

Sometimes, when I'm really down I may think that the only way I'd look better is through some sort of surgery. But I'd never actually go through with it. Only if I were in a major accident or fire or something would I go through reconstructive surgery, never elective cosmetic surgery. I know I'll never be "perfect," but I have someone who loves me for who I am and thinks I'm beautiful, a little overweight and all.

I'd rather be ugly than face the needle! Cosmetic surgery is the one thing that has never attracted me. I don't find women with ginormous headlights beautiful - sometimes they border on the hideous to me. I like the look of natural beauty as given to us by God.
