Have you ever worked underground as a miner?

Hi, just wondering about those of you that have worked underground in mining. What was the worst thing that happened in your experience. Cut offs when blasting are always a bit hairy to sort out after the blast. I dropped an ore bucket down a shaft once. I also nearly lost my toes when an ore bucket clipped my foot because I was standing at the edge of the penthouse.
