Where oh where this coming weekend...?

I am from Laguna, Philippines and it's been a while since I haven't gone out camping with family or friends. I'm planning to take a break this weekend, maybe go for a mountain climb or visit a waterfall. I really don't have any idea where to go yet. Any suggestions?

There are so many things to do in Laguna. You can climb Mount Makiling, visit Pagsanjan falls, take a cruise in one of the seven lakes of San Pablo, go fishing in Caliraya Lake, or have lunch with your family along a waterfalls in Villa Escudero or Hidden Valley.

Wow! I would love to go to Pagsanjan Falls, or San Pablo... My last climb was in Mount Makiling with my balikbayan friend two months ago. I would want to go on a mountain trek again. I like fishing, too, but don't know how to... I can't even swim! Haha! And going to Villa Escudero is a bit of a if-budget-permits thing for me at the moment. Thanks, doggydimon, for your suggestions for the weekend. Hey, you know a lot about Laguna, eh? You know what, I would love to try to check out those seven lakes in San Pablo. Have you been there? How much would it cost me to go there?

Hi carolobis! That depends where you are coming from Laguna going to San Pablo. I love to travel so I try to check out places if I have the chance. I haven't been to the Seven Lakes but I hear and read about it so many times. They say if you want serene surroundings, you should go there. Also, you will help the local women there gain some income. There is a group of women from San Pablo who will take you on a cruise of one of the lakes there in their bamboo raft. They will be the one who will paddle for you... hehehe...
