I would so love to travel. A co-worker of mine is going to California next week. Here in Minnesota.. winter has hit us at full-force! It is snowy, icy, and best of all (worst of all?) freezing!!! I am thinking right about now..Mexico, California, Hawaii, Florida, etc - all sound good in my book. . Unfortunately, both the money AND the time off work are not there. Are you travelling anywhere this winter?

Although it isn't fully winter yet, I did some travelling last week. I went to Vegas, and was expecting some beautiful weather. I was disappointed when I got there and realized that it was just a couple of degrees warmer than here. But my diappointment was immediately washed away when I saw all the fun things to be had there.

Here in England it is winter right now and at the moment there is very cold weather. We have had some snow and ice last week and now loads of ran. Every morning I have to spend ten minutes making the ice off my car windows. I have had to have my central heating on a lot. I hope that I will be able to travel somewhere warm in 2011. It may be this winter that I jet off somewhere on a trip overseas. I don't like to get too excited about going on a particular trip. This summer I was worried when there was volcanic ash and then the airline I was going on had lots of strikes. I only found out one week before I went that the airline would be flying on the day booked. So off I went to Vancouver in Canada. I can only afford one trip a year so I am looking forward to 2011 to sort out the details of my trip.

I cannot get any time off work til January, and after then I doubt I will have the money to travel very fair. A couple of my friends are going to America in March / April time and I would love to go but I doubt I'd be able to afford it. I will be travelling within the country though. I am going up to visit my parents around Christmas, which is about 100 miles away and I may go and see my boyfriend which is only marginally closer.

I'm actually going to be going up North to colder weather in South Korea. Should be a fun respite from the boredom I've been experiencing lately, and will be nice to get change of scenery. I really need it. Happy Holidays!

Family is traveling to us this winter. My in laws are coming for christmas. Money is the biggest factor for my husband and I this winter. We are both teachers so we have 10 days off around the holidays, but due to a surgery and high medical bills, all of our extra money is being put towards that.

Hi maezee, many friends whom I usually join to travel have been visiting Spain and a couple of adjacent countries last week. Later on four of them would continue their journey to London and would stay for fortnight there. I didn't join them due to certain personal and essential affairs which I have to settle in person right on the same moment. I really envy them could spend their wonderful winter holidays in countries which I have been dreaming to visit Happy posting and have a nice day

To & from work is about all I can afford right now. I haven't had anything resembling a vacation since before my first child was born. There's just no time or money.

I would like to travel back home sometime in January because we have a new granddaughter coming that month. We will be going in the opposite direction that you want to go since we live in Florida and will be headed north. But, my husband's health is not good right now so that will determine when we'll be able to make the trip.

Actually I am headed north this weekend. I'm going to Indianapolis to do a conference this Saturday. I think the snow will stay far away for now. After that I probably won't go anywhere until spring!

Like you, I'm not going anywhere this year. My love and I are cutting back and saving up for our wedding in two years. So our next travel plans is our honeymoon, actually. And we're not planning on going too far. We might just go to Seattle and the Pacific Northwest. We'll see. I hope you'll enjoy your holidays even though you're just staying in town! Cheers!

Yep I'm traveling; going to Orlando, Florida with my family for a few days before Christmas over winter break. In all honesty I'm not that fond of traveling but hopefully I'll be able to enjoy the warm weather for there at the very least LOL. Of course all the places to go there should be fun as well. My family hasn't gone on a vacation in a few years so hopefully this one will be memorable.

I want to go to Shanghai this winter. But I don't think that my parents will agree with that idea.Because in China,it's very important for a family to get togethor and spend the Spring festival together. Many of my classmates are planning to go to Shanghai ang find a job during the winter vacation so that they can earn many for the next semester.I think it's a good idea to challenge yourself as well as relieve your parents burden.

I would love to travel too, but in summer. In winter season, i have not a plan to go anywhere. I am from India so summer season is too hot here and this is the reason i try to find some cool place for spending at least one month of summer season else i there is no way to travel in winter season. Because winter season is of two months at most.

No, not this Winter, and not any recently. I will be busy trying to handle my investments and making money. Also, I will be trying to figure out how to handle beginning to file taxes by e-file since the IRS is trying to make everyone do it that way. Since I have to do quarterly estimated taxes, it will probably be a major problem.

Unfortunately, I won't really be able to do much traveling this winter. I won't travel, as I don't have the money to do so. I'm currently a student, and don't have a lot of money. Hence why I unfortunately cannot travel this winter.

Usually in my life I have not been able to travel for pleasure as I have been so strapped for money. However, I live with my boyfriend now for almost 5 years whereas he is an actor and doing really well. Currently from November 1 through December 23rd we out in TN while he is doing a great show. All expenses paid and he is gaining a salary. Then in January we are heading out to Arkansas with the same there too. At the end of February we are heading out to California with a TV commercial he will be in as well. So for the first time in my entire life I am able to travel and not have to pay a cent. Although he is the one busy and earning I am able to come along and do as I please, as well as see many shows as well.

I already traveled actually, I'm currently staying at my boyfriend's place and I'll be spending the holidays with him and his family :) We're from different countries (he's Swedish and I'm from Spain), so it's really nice to be able to experience a different kind of winter... even if it's so damn cold! Hehe :)
