Hello Lotters, I don't know how it happen but it's almost two days now that it hurts.I told my mom about it and because it's twice that's it's happened, she is starting to believe it's either Arthritis or Rheumatoid arthritis ( Rayuma in tagalog ). Probably it's either my feet gets cold recently since fan always points to my feet. Or what mom has been scolding not to eat, which nuts and dried corn snacks. I tried to use the treadmill the first time it occurred but it hurt more, guess that was stupid some how. for now, i can't even walk properly as if am disabled when i walked. today i bought some stuff from grocery and it hurt as i walk. The Pain is between the feet and the joints near the ankle. i put oil and use that thing that helps mom in her own shoulder and ankle pain. I can't believe am 26, and this is already happening. (sheeesh) Maybe i really do need to exercise seriously from now on. Have a Great day.............................

Hello CrazyDaisy, I can't afford to have Arthritis since i also need my feet to do house choirs and buy groceries and exercise every day.i hope i don't get much muscle pain problems as i get older. but it seems at 26 i could get one already and then gets worse as i grown older, well exercise can still turn things around right.

Arthritis is an inflammation of the joints so your pain should be localized or at least near the joints of your feet. From your description, it seems to me that its your feet that hurts. Is there swelling? My feet would hurt when I do too much walking or spent far too much time in the treadmill. When that happens, I usually limp around for days. If it becomes too painful, I take Alaxan FR (or as Pacquiao would say EEF-AR)I know people who have arthritis and they usually complain about the cold during these times. A hot compress usually helps them get through the pain, but the best is of course to see a doctor.

Hello Advocate, it's not swelling, but it still hurts but not that much when i put some oil and socks on my feet just not to let it chill.probably it got too much pressure on the same kidn of foot position when ever i do computer. i will consider a hot compress or the Alaxan, how is it? i usually buy it in botika ng bayan.

If its not swelling then its probably just stressed. I usually have painful arms from all the time I spend in front of the computer - my cousin says wrong posture in using a computer. She's a doctor and she made me drink Alaxan for five days, every 4 hours. And it really worked. She says that I have to sit straight and do the proper typing position for finger if I want to be pain-free. But who can do that for hours? But don't overdo on Alaxan as it can damage your kidney if you overdose on it.

hello Letran, Oh my,you're too young to suffer such illness. Well, blame yourself for that. I think you are abusing yourself, like those oily foods and without proper exercise either. What i can suggest you is start a simple exercise like jogging or brisk walking everyday. 30 minutes is good enough to release toxins from our body (by sweating off) It will helps you eliminate some toxins that cause the pain or arthritis. Just start it now,or else you will end up having more problem with your health. Aw,not to mention hypertension and heart disease (no,no,no) have a good day dear bro

Hello My friend, Thank you so much for you're concern. so far, I have taken alaxan for the second day, but i kinda agree with saqi that it could have been a chilled nerve on the foot that caused this.

Maybe you have been overdoing it in other areas, like way over walking running or simply jumped some how to land in a weird way, as sometimes these pains you do not feel them for a couple days. The other thing that comes to mind are you sitting for too long and perhaps the muscle is feeling over stressed if you are sitting for too long the blood flows down ward way too much. I do hope you feel better and some exercise if the above is a possibility may help.

Hello Hardworking gurl, I think the second sentence was right since i've been sitting like this longer. i can't exercise my feet now but i can how ever exercise with my arms. it doesn't really need to take exercise on the feet. maybe ur right, the blood flows too much there. well, i will try to move my feet here. any more advice? thanks

Just wanted to add that if you sit too longer prop them up on something, so they are not always facing downward.

Hi L. Knight I think the it is due to fan, because I also got this type of pain when fan is directly to my legs and in the morning it really pains As you already applied some oil or pain relieving liquid so I think it shall be helpful, the other thing is drink water as much as you can, I have read some where, I forget the reference, that when fan is directly on you whole night then it dries your joints and it can be painful, so try to drink water. The other thing which is already discussed that due your work while sitting too much it can cause this pain, I also agree with this, the best solution for this while sitting is to move your feet thumbs after every five minutes or when you remember, it is good exercise for blood flow in the legs and feet. May you get rid of pain quickly Happy day dear...:)

Hello Saqi Darn it, you should have responded earlier. I could have given you the Best Response. well, am glad you got the same experience as i Did. I've always drink water more than once i think, probably ten glasses a day. I only move my feet when there's a mosquito running around my knees i went to my sis=in-laws mom and have it massage. she said a nerve chilled and it pained.

Ouch Letran, that sounds like the Achilles heal if I am not mistaken. Have you tried stretching and soaking your foot in Epson (sp?) salts? I have some problems in my one foot, but it is due to some nerve damage I think I caused when I did this dance step wrong..I just have to wear soft soled shoes and I rarely have pain anymore. My foot dr wanted to do surgery, but I declined because my husband had this surgery and now sometimes his foot not only still hurts, but it almost always cold and I hate the cold..lol..

Hello carmel, if theres one thing i like avoiding this holidays, it's surgery well, i don't dance either but i guess allowing this foot to sit in a pressured position is a mistake either.i wish my sis in laws mom can just get rid of it by massage by tomorrow.

Maybe you should go to the doctors if you are seriously worried about it. My feet hurt every so often, but that is because I work in retail so I can be on my feet for between 4 and 12 hours and if I am on my feet for a long time for several days then they don't really get the time to recover. I would stop pointing the fan at your feet, because I remember in the summer when I had a fan on and I got the worst stiff neck from it. I also find that when my feet get cold, they get sore, but then again so does the rest of my body so I don't really worry about it.
@Elixiress (3878)

Or you could turn the fan off?
• Philippines

Hello Elixiress, Well, if i put the fan on my face, i could get cold and kept sniffing around because of liquid in the nose. well, i wouldn't want the rest of my body being in pain at the moment since my feet has it worse for me.

Hi Letran! I was going to say that you are way to young to have pain in your feet! Wait till you get older (like me)! You might have just stepped down wrong, moved your foot wrong or something as simple as that! I broke my left foot when I was a little younger than you are. Now that was reason for pain! I now have arthritis and you have no idea how painful that really can be. My left foot started swelling last year and I've had all kinds of tests, X-rays, MRI and blood tests and the doctors still don't know why it swells and it hurts bad and sometimes it makes it difficult to walk (but I do anyway)! And then this Summer my right ankle started to bother me in the same area that you are describing! I still don't think that you have arthritis, although anyone can get it at any age, unfortunately. I still think that you might have done something to it without knowing. Give it some time and I think you will feel better~

Hi Knight, oh my, that's bad news. I've watched the Korean series about health and they reported that young people are getting these types of illnesses and the youngest was only 10 and he had rheumatoid arthritis in his knees, causing him to walk with difficulty. Take good care, dude. Even for me, my knees are a bit hurting now and I'm only 18. You should go see the doctor and let him diagnose whether it's arthritis or just plain foot pain. Take care!

Hello JudgeIron, Well, thanks a lot for you're concern. it's been days since i started walking, maybe it has something to do with my foot position. i always feels like it's always pressuredprobably i won't let it make like it's carrying a heavy thing on my body. and probably buy a new slippers too

Ouch, not nice at all. You may have just pulled a muscle as it is quite easy to do, so try not to panic too much. If you want to exercise, I recommend swimming. My other half has athritis-like problems with his knees, and he can only do swimming as all other forms of exercise cause the problems to get worse. Please stop using your treadmill! Another thing you may want to try is sitting on a chair or sofa and then gently using your ankle to draw circles in the air with your toes. This will keep your muscles loose. Try this video I found for you. This is what I mean. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_EK9Sr-qekQ I also recommend that you get to see a physiotherapist as soon as you can if it goes on for more than a week.. They may be able to prescribe something, or even get to the root of the problem.

Maybe it's about time you try Michael V endorsed natural medicine, is that arthricin? Or better yet, cut down on your consumption of peanuts or any seeds for that matter including Taho. Having an arthritis at 26 is a bit too early but it's a possibility.

so sorry sweetie you should go to the doctor and make some exams to your foot. also walk everyday one hour would be good for you to feel better. that when the pain goes away i mean. also try not to eat what your mummy told not to. also try to drink a glass of milk when you wake up and before sleep bcs milk is good for bones :) it has a lot of calcium and that will help you feeling better for sure^^ also dont forget to always put the balm your mom has to put in her ankle. you put also ok? when you wake up and before sleep

I'm so sorry to hear your foot hurts, I have some pain issues that are annoying like that as well. I have just fractured my toe last week and last night it was still bothering me after some days in between where I barely felt anything. I think the cold weather coming back isn't helping much. But you might just have arthritis. Eating salty things can cause arthritis to flare up as well as white flour and other things. Not heard of nuts causing any pain.
