Just for today until December 6,2010...please change your profile picture with one of your fave cartoons you enjoyed during your childhood and invite your friends to do the same...let's fill the faces on myLot with cartoons..LET'S STOP THE VIOLENCE AGAINST CHILDREN and LET'S ALL FIGHT AGAINST CHILD ABUSE!...

gracielle why would us putting cartoons on our avatars help fight
violence against children and child abuse? I sort of like my graphics as they are unique and one of a kind. would not other methods help the children a lot more? I am all for stopping the violence with practical
ways to do so.

I saw this same discussion on Facebook but when I think back I wasn't much of a cartoon watcher as a child. I think the only cartoon that was on was Bugs Bunny and Friends, Porky Pig, Roadrunner. I didn't watch them because I loved them, I watched them because they were there. When I was a kid we didn't have all the cartoons they have now, and we only had about 10 channels.
Ask me to put a picture of my all-time favourite tv show (non-cartoon) and I would probably put up Happy Days or something in that era.
