Run option disabled from start menu

Hi Friends, Can you please help me for this issue. I always use "Run" in my system start menu. But i could not able to see the same in my office system. How can i see this in my office system as i see in my home desktop. Pls suggest...

Well it's because mostly offices apply security to their computer.. and as an employee of that organization you have to follow those rules.. whatever you try.. it won't allow you to open run..I mean not in normal and legal way.. :-) Good Luck..

Well, it's probably because they don't want you accessing it. That is the reason why it is not showing up. The only thing I can suggest for you to try is the hot key for the run option. Try pressing the windows key + R, this should bring it up if they did not completely disable the option for it. The windows key is located in between CTRL and ALT, it's kind of like a square split in 4. Good luck and I hope that this function works for you. Take care.

HI, Thank you for your help. I tried as you said so. I am getting the below error message when i am doing that. " This operation has been cancelled due to restrictions in effect on this computer. Please contact your system administrator" .
