Chicken Cordon Bleau - Chicken Dish
Aside from the ever so popular fried chicken you can do so many other innovative recipes for chicken. Sadly, we can't pose recipes here (I hope I spelled it correctly ). It is a special chicken dish and very well fitted for the holiday season.

Hi angelbelle578, Another great way to cook chicken is called "Chicken spaghetti". A lot of kids will like this one because it is different from the usual red sauced spaghetti. It is made with a cheesy creamy chicken and sauce mixed with noodles. It is great when mixed with broccoli, even grownups will love.

I have two favourite ways of doing chicken. One is a North African Jewish recipe and the other is probably middle European, though I don't really know where it comes from. The first I know as 'Chicken Groozee Mimulah' but is better described as 'Chicken Roasted with Pomegranate'. In fact, the chicken is stuffed with pomegranate seeds before roasting and basted with pomegranate juice as it roasts. A recipe which is quite close to the one I know (from a book published by Hamlyn called 'Jewish Cooking') is here: http://www.koshercooking.com/Recipes/highholidays/pomchk.html The other way that I love to cook chicken is the famous '40 cloves of garlic' method. This involves placing, literally, 40 cloves of garlic (they may be peeled or not) in the base of a pot and a trussed chicken on top. The pot should be very slowly brought to simmering point and left at this heat for at least three hours. It is quite difficult to prevent the pot from burning but it must be left covered at just around boiling point for the full three hours. After this, the garlic will have dissolved into a delicious (and barely garlicky) soupy sauce blended with the chicken juices and the chicken meat will be imbued with the garlic flavour and will fall off the bone.

I love to eat chicken that has been cooked in barbecue sauce or cilantro sauce. I can't find cilantro sauce anymore since Walmart quit carrying it, and we do not have any Mexican stores in our area, so I haven't had it in such a long time. Sometimes, I will just spray a pan with olive oil, and spice it up with no-salt seasoning and cook it that way. I eat a lot of chicken, so I also need a lot of variety of cooking options. Oh...sometimes, I will just boil it for twenty minutes and then toss it in a salad.

Hi angelbelle, during special occasion in our family I usually cook this chicken recipe which I learned from the recipe book of a friend. When I first tried to eat it, I was intrigued on how it was done so I made a point to know how its cooked. I would like to suggest Chicken Cordon Bleu. Its not that hard to make though. I hope you'll try it.
