tax for Warteg...is it worth?

I feel taxes for warteg, is less precise. Food prices in warteg very cheap, and affordable. If taxed, would be many buyers, who objected. Because the price will definitely go up.

Hi Ifa!. I think in situation like now, where every thing expensive its not wise to take a tax from small business like thats. I mean we all know how tax can be played and if they work with fair the tax from current source its more than enough. I mean look what gayus got from several company as bribe money and can you imagine how much tax they should pay if the bribe money thats big. They just not do their job really well and make situation more hard from small business like that.

ufa whether you are INdian or Filipino if you want responses you need to make clear what you are talking about as non indians and non filipinos may want to respond too. now what is Warteg, a people, a city or what?if we knew more about the situation you might get more responses.

i think it`s impossible and riddiculuous things too many places or everything which had to given by tax why must warteg??

I think there is no difference between warteg and restaurants,they both sell foods. And certainly, warteg tax collection aims to increase local revenues in jakarta. Thats make sense for me. But i am not sure these programs will free from "pungli". Its very likely to be a new land for corruption practice.
