Do you wear glasses or contacts? I wear glasses now, I used to wear contacts all the time, but it gave me a lot of 'side effects' like itchiness. My eyes are like -3.2 or something. I hope one day I can get laser surgery. Have you got it done? How well is your vision?

I've been using extended-wear contact lenses for years. You wear them, even sleep in them, for 1-2 weeks, than toss them. Only I wear mine for longer, sometimes months at a time. Perhaps I should add a caveat here. This practice is NOT recommended. I am NOT advocating others do this. And if you tell my eye doctor, I'll deny it. I HATE glasses! I find them uncomfortable and because the old ones I do have are so thick and heavy, they hurt my ears and constantly slide down my nose. Not only that, it's like looking out through a fish bowl. One eye is -7.0, the other is -7.5, so even though laser surgery has advanced, my doctor tells me it will only correct vision up to -6.0, so even with LASIK, I would still have to wear corrective lenses. So there would be no point in it for me...yet.

I wore glasses first but I got really annoyed by it like when I have to put make up on, kiss a guy, or whisper to a friend, I have to take it off. I switched to clear lenses, but recently, I switched to colored lenses for a change.

I don't know the number or scale of my vision. I have not tried going to a clinic and seeing an eye expert. Maybe I should try once. I use my eyes extensively, I am online for an average of 10 hours a day and I guess my eyes are prone to vision problems. But so far, my eyes are still sharp, I still can see those objects located in far distance.
