I think I know the best way to cook rice in a casserole and I think it is also the easiest. Check out my way of cooking white rice: http://hubpages.com/_mylot5/hub/easy-rice-recipe Tell me if you agree. If you have cooked like that. If you like it. If you have your own way of cooking white rice. Thank you!

I like to fry my rice with crushed garlic and salt until it changes color. Only then I add the water and cook it covered with little heat so the water soaks into the rice. Rice tastes wonderful that way and you donĀ“t have to do it with the most expensive grains.

cook rice, it is easy. First, wash the rice thoroughly. Rules in rice wash, don't rice wash more than 2 X, because the rest will just waste vitamins and minerals that exist in rice. After the washed rice, give boiled water to the size one knuckle your middle finger. If the rice to be cooked more than 1 liter, its size should not exceed the height of one knuckle your middle finger. But if the rice to be cooked, less than 1 liter of rice, reduce the water by lowering the dose slightly below the size of your knuckles. Rice ready cooked ....

I think directions you're providing here are a tad confusing, no offense. As rice is mostly gluten, I think it is a good idea to boil it without washing to keep what ever nutrition is left from the polishing process. Thank you for responses :)

I do not really like to cook white rice, at least I like to cook fried rice + minced meat.
