Do you make your own Christmas cards or do you buy them? I bought mine the same as always and I have most of them ready to mail out. Do you have yours mailed yet? I am trying to do this early this year.

Buying ready made cards are easier and saves more time.. However, handmade cards are more personalized and made from the heart I would rather make and receive hand made cards this year...

I love to make my own cards and sometimes I make all of the cards that I send to my friends. This year I probably won't get time to make my own cards, because I am busy with work and voluntery work and at the same time I have pack all of my things as I am going to move soon. Each years I decide to write the cards early...but for some reason I always end up writing them in the last moment instead Yesterday I received a text message from my friend and she told me that she had finished writing her cards. I was pretty impressed - because I didn't start yet. I am going to buy some cards when I go shopping next time.

If I ever give out any cards, I usually buy a box of them. I can get a nice sized box from the dollar store and that one box will usually last through all of the people I need to send cards too. So, I'll just write them up and hand them out. I'm not too crafy when it comes to cards so I just avoid it if I can. If I was really strapped for cash then I'd just make them with help but right now, I'll just buy them.

I am afraid that I am not real crafty either so I buy mine also.

I used to give Christmas cards before, I just bought them. It is not really that effortless because I spend a lot of time choosing the messages inside them. Right now I just send e-cards because it is way convenient and will reach anyone in the world.

I know a lot of people who no longer send cards, but it is a tradition that I am unwilling to give up.

I do both, i make cards for some of the family as well as some of the friends that i have and the rest i tend to buy cards for.I have posted only one and the reason for this is that it has taken ages in the past to get to the person, so this year i have sent their card really early.

That is a good idea especially if you know it will take a long time to get there.

Postage is rather ridiculous if you have many cards or packages to mail out.

I find that I have always lost addresses when it comes time to mail cards.

I would love to make my own christmas cards this year. My Mom and I went to a craft store a couple days ago, and we saw the prettiest handmade cards. There were two mittens on the front of some card stock. I am sure it was quite time consuming, but they were beautiful!! I haven't mailed out any cards yet this year. I use to mail them out the day after thanksgiving.
