When surfing, i stumble upon a site that talks mainly about the differences and the advantage of both sexes. I am kinda doubting if the survey are quite true or not. Could anyone elaborate?

I believe that depending on the subject at hand, is what makes a man or woman listen better. However, generally I would say that women are better listeners because it comes naturally to them and that is part of their instinct.

I would have to 2nd the motion that the women are better listeners based on the fact that most men do anything possible to not have to fully listen to when women speak we tune into key words and prefer short one word answers like ya or uh huh and oh. While women listen to every detail of every word hoping solely to hear something that is going to set them off I hope this helps.

I would have to kindof agree with what has been stated so far! Men, I have noticed are very matter of fact and general in their conversations most of the time. When it comes to discussing deeper, emotional issues a person would have to find the "right time" to discuss these things. This, I believe comes from the notion that men are designed to "fix things" quickly and in a general manner. I also believe that when a man is a constant "deep and emotional" conversationalist they are one of two things: reared by a female figure for the most part or one who "looks" to try to "find" something to evaluate whether it is a female or something else. These things I am saying because of my own experience with men that displayed both of these personalities. Woman on the other hand, I believe are designed with the "need" to have all the "details" to be able to "fix" things. This is why I believe that when a male and female works "together" to find a solution to an issue, the results are lasting and beneficial for everyone.
