I would leave the wallet where it is... I once lost my wallet and found it exactly where I had left it... another thing I might do would be to give it to the police... but it depends what country I live in... sometimes the police keeps wallets that were returned to them... but I would never take it... I have other options, like making money online hahaha

I would take the money.. lol, i was kidding. If i could I'll try to give it to the real owner, but if the situation is complicated I'll simply ignore it and go away

We all know that getting others things without their permission is BAD. But it depends on the situation. For example the wallet, If the owner is just near[if possible you can see the address on the wallet.] try to give the wallet back. And if the money on the wallet is big you should take it back to the owner because maybe that money is needed by that person for financial or certain reasons. But for me maybe it all depends on the situation if i cant find the person maybe i will just leave the wallet. BUt honestly speaking, maybe, my bad side will tell me to get the wallet because when someone also see`s it some will leave it also until it came to the point that one will get it:)

I'll leave it there. Sometimes if you do good, people may just misunderstand your kind intentions so, just leave it. There was once, in my country, somebody found a wallet in the pavement and took it to the police station but on the way there, all he got was a beating by some guys as they accused him of stealing the wallet.

I could never take the money out of the wallet. That would be stealing. Stealing is one of the top three things on my list of pet peeves. I would not like for someone to take my money. That being said, I would not leave it alone. If I could locate contact information for the owner, I would make every effort to personally return the wallet back to him/her. If there was no phone number or address, then I would take the wallet to the nearest person of authority, whether in a store, restruant, or where ever. I had dropped my ATM card in the parking lot of a grocery store and had not even been aware of it until the lady who found it had gone to pretty profound lengths to find me. I was not listed in the city's phone book, by my married last name, so she called every person who shared my maiden name until she reached my dad, who told her how to contact me. She then offered to bring my card back to the store or give me her address for me to come pick it up. I will forever be grateful for her kindness. She was going out of town the next day and I thought it was extremely wonderful of her to make sure that I got my card back. It would have been much easier for her to leave it lay on the ground, or take it into the store, but she made sure that it was given back to me personally.

It would be difficult to say what to do until this happens to you. An honest person would take the wallet unopened to the authorities or try to find the owner themselves. It would be so tempting to keep the wallet and what could be found inside. I would like to think i would have the strength in me to make the right decision.

I would definitely choose letter-d, I will return the wallet (ofcourse with the cash) to the owner if there is address or phone number attached otherwise I will go to a radio or tv station to help me find the real owner. Well I'm not fool enough to easily give in to anyone who says are the owner. I have to ask them first some questions about the identity of the wallet to prove he or she really is the owner.

i will just walk by..i won't touch it..in today's world people who even tries to help are been kicked at the back, what if i touch the wallet and the owner sees me and without asking what was i going to do with it starts beating me up..if you are been careless you will always pay for it..

My true and the bold answer is number four .Yes If i get the chance to know about the owner then surely I will give to the owner. There is no use of giving it to the police because it is 100% sure that the owner will come to claim the wallet. In this case it is useless.I never expect other people's earnings ,But If I din't find the address I will take it as a gift.I don't want to be the looser in this case.I never left alone.

That is easy, I would see if there was identification in the wallet. If there was I would call them to return the wallet as is. If not I would take it the police or someone in management in a store so they can announce it so the person that lost it can retrieve it.

I would probably look for an address or a name to be able to locate the person who lost the wallet. I would not take the money because I always believe in "do onto others as you wish them to do to you." Another words you wouldn't want to lose your wallet and someone take your money. If I can't find a name or address then I would hand it over to the police. However, I think in most cases you will find a driver's license with a name and address.

If I find a wallet in a public place it will most probably be empty anyway...So I don't even pick them up any longer. I had found like 3 so far but there was nothing inside that could help me to contact the owner of it so I just left it there where it was.

I must say that i would hand it into the police, that way you know that it will get to the right person, even if it had id in it.I do think that there are alot of people out there that would take the money and leave the wallet.Life would be so much better if everyone was honest.
