First Successful Mylot Members Meet Up - A Midnight Appoinment!

Waaaaaaaaaaahhhhhh!!!!!!This is the only word that is coming out on my mouth right now after meeting 3 mylot members last night.I really can't express how happy I am now.We do not know each other here in mylot,except for the guy(Neil) that have been my friend here.But we haven't met in person,just last night.What brought us together is because of the son of Neil who has just gone with an operation.Jane(another lotter that i've met last night) responded on my previous discussion about the reunion and mentioned about Neil's son situation.She explained to me that the little boy is in the hospital,so we decided to visit Neil's son. last night.Honey(another lotter)and Jane together with his son arrived in the hospital around 11 in the eveing.They have some talk while waiting for me,since my work schedule is from 3 in the afternoon up to 12 midnight.12 midnight has come,there was a feeling of excitement at the same time nervousness.I decided to ride a cab so i can reach the place easily.After 20 minutes travel,i reach the hospital.My heart beat is not regular already
,i don't know why,maybe because of two much excitement.I was informed that I have to proceed at 3rd floor,room 317.When I reached third floor,i saw a guy waiting in front of the elevator,and i already knew that it was Neil because I already saw his face in facebook.He greeted me and follow him.My heart beat continue to beat so very fast.I asked myself?"What's happening to me?"Upon opening the door I saw big smile from Jane,Honey,Auntie Patricia(Niel's husband)and Jane's son.We greeted each other as if we've been friends for a long time.We had a little talk about Zayzay(Neil's son)about his condition.Thanks to God because he is already okay and the operation is successful.
After few minutes of talk, i decided to invite them to eat because i am already hungry.we went out of the building and ride on the car of jane.it was really fun because it took us time to look for a restaurant to eat.As if we are doing road trip.After a while,we decided to eat at Sicilian Italian Restaurant.After we took an order we took some pcitures for our remembrance.You still it here,I will attached all the pictures.
We've talked about of the upcoming conference this coming week,if many members can't come by sunday,we can re-schedule it earlier than that day,just let me know about it.but anyway,let me go back with the story.after our one and half hour of eating together,we decided to go home.we drop niel in the hospital and the 4 of us decided to go to the house of Honey to have a cup of coffee.Huh?I'm telling you,the feeling is totally different.We stayed in Honey's house for about an hour.Jane and his son bring me home and arrived 5 in the morning.Even though i'm still awake right and feeling very sleepy,i still try my best to post this discussion because they are waiting for this.Guys,i'm really sorry to say, but sure you will be envy after seeing the pictures below.anyway,you can join us for our upcoming conference this week!!happy mylotting everyone.hope this will inspire you guys!

Finally, it's here. I was waiting for this in Neil's fb page, updates ab out Zay's operation and the EB.I'm glad you took time to post it here.:)
I could have been there. Knight and I was talking about it and I was excited to go until my hubby said no... What can I do? If I had made it, we wouldn't see each other because it was quite late when you arrived at the hospital, but, at least, I had visited Zay and saw other lotters,too...
It's so nice of you to make an effort to organize an EB for Mylot users here in the Philippines.
And, yes, looking at the picture, I feel envious.

i hope you can come on our conference this coming week.you can ask your husband to go with you.there will be no problem.i can assure you that you will really be happy.we did not plan foe yesterday's event but it was really full of fun.

last night was an unexpected met up...it's on the spot meeting.
i asks rberon if he can make it,since i can't make it on the next days (due to work sched)
and it turn out to be a fun/great conference (it's worth the sleepless day)

Wow! I like this post. It is seldom for me to meet people that I have known through online only and if I was on your situation, I would feel the same as well. A combination of excitement and trepidition, we cannot really avoid to somehow feel different when meeting the person for the first time, however, the experience afterward is very rewarding and worth overcoming the expectations, like what you have done, estaliblishing friendship and more! I would like to know more on this conference you were speaking about though, hehe. Cheers!

I have checked your profile and i found out that you are a filipino as well.The conference will be held this coming week,between friday to sunday.the date will be based on the availability of the attendees.the purpose of this conference is strengthen the team and attract other people to join.fabulous prizes and souveneirs will be given away after the conference.so join now.

Zayzay is doing good.the operation is very successful.you don't have to worry if you were not able to come.Niel already knows your situation.he understand it.what about you?how's your condition?would you wish a visit from us?

and I am head over heels happy for ZayZay too and his dad and mom.
we all here at Mylot really got so close to zayzay and his folks
and wished all the best. its tough to see your child suffer and this
one sure has a happy ending. congrats on your meeting, wish I coould have been there but California is a long ways off. lol.

This's great! Well done! After reading your discussion, I feel that Mylot is bringing people much closer, no matter what, whether they know each other or not. Last time I started a discussion regarding this too, about mylotters meeting each other but that discussion of mine was something more of a fantasy than reality but it's quite close to this. Hmm...I'm quite happy to see fellow mylotters meeting each other

this event is totally unexpected,we did not really plan for it.it just came to a point that we are already together.what brought together is the son of one of our co-members here in mylot.will do another bonding by the end of the week.happy mylotting!

Wow....this must be the best thing that ever come out of mylotting. And probably the first recorded meeting of mylotters in real life. What a beautiful and wonderful experienced you had and sure is an envy to many of us who has been loyal fans of mylot. I would love to be among you people as it is endorsing a true friendship made in the virtual world. Hopefully this will become an international annual event so people have good reasons to take vacations in your country or in any other venue around the globe. My regards to all Filipino mylotters and wish you all the best.

I would certainly love to come back again to your country. I would only be able to go there probably midst of next year as I've just come back from a trip overseas. Reserve the lechon and egg flans oh..am already salivating thinking of all those local delicacies. So yummy!!!

Thank you for sharing this wonderful meet up of virtual friends and now friends for life. And thank you for sharing the picture as well. I am so happy that neil's son is okay now, i hope and pray for the kid's fast recovery. Oh, when you first mentioned the name jane, i know who you were talking about, thats my sister here, a very ideal sister here in mylot, and i know she is also in real life. Meeting together just inform us that mylot is a great foundation for friendship, and the limits never end in the corners of the web but in person and real life friendship. I am excited for that conference yet i know most numbers of philippine lotters are in luzon so its hard for me here in davao, except if i am fortunate enough to have a peso ticket... Hahaha, looking for it... God bless you guys. Sis jai, you appear bigger, yet sexier...

That was so kind of the three of you to go visit Neil and his son in the hospital. I imagine that it must have been a little bit uncomforatable at first to go meet a complete stranger at the hospital, but I also think that it must have felt awful good for him to have some support while his son was at the hospital. As far as the picture goes, it really looks like the four of you had a great time and I'm sure that it gives you even more reason to look forward to the convention that you are planning.

Meeting someone online is way different meeting them in person. I would feel the same if meeting the guys here at myLot. It is a feeling of being able to perceive the real person whom we shared our innermost thoughts is a special way.
It reminded me of meeting for the first time my then unknown texter/admirer and now my lifetime partner.

You are right,it is totally different in meeting person online.at first i am hessitant to come over because the three of them has met before already.i might be out of place.but i did not feel that.they are all very jolly and accomodating.there are no dull moments when you are with them especially with honey who has a sense of humuor.

Hi rberon,
I would like to join but I'm from down South of the Philippines and going to Manila involves a lot of logistics. Maybe in the future I may be able to visit up north (I have never been there, to tell the truth). All I managed to visit outside my hometown is Cebu City and that was a long time ago.
I love to travel but travel does not love me. I'll try my very best to go, really that's a promise guys. Happy conference all around.

i never thought of meeting any my lotters before.you opened one more side of mylot to me.
of course meeting a person in internet and meeting him in real life is a big difference.because you get to know him,his behaviour etc.i met with online friends in facebook orkut before.i never thought i will find a chance to meet mylotters in person.
but meeting mylotters is not possible for me because in india and in kolkata there is a few mylotters,most of them dont know about it.and those mylotters in kolkata are not in my list and i dont know how to find them.

I think it's great that you all got together. It's fun meeting people you have talked to online for awhile, as you know they are probably good people. I have several friends I met online ten years ago and met later, they are great and I treasure their friendship. You all look like you're really enjoying yourself! I hope Neil's son makes a quick recovery.
