What is your purpose for doing a post about an earning site?

I was just wondering why do others make posts about sites they are members of. Is is that they want to share with others the earning opportunities or they have other reasons, like gaining referrals or so? What do you think? Why do you make posts about earning opportunity sites?

You know why did I do like that? Because the majority doesn't want to sign up through other person's link. Why does this bother many, to help others, I will never understand.

Probably three different types of people with that sort of thing: 1- wants to just get referrals, doesn't care about the person 2- wants to help people, doesn't really care about the referrals 3- wants to help people, plus would like to get a few referrals in the process(I tend to think this is why I share sites with people.-I actually share ideas of how to be successful, give tips etc(so do others)But, others just say "hey, look at this to make money!!! :S" with a referral link, not even bothering to explain what is going on....

You forgot the 4th. There are people who post in this website just to "earn money from posting". They don't care about the other three, they just want to earn money from posting. Right?

That could be true... But, if they know how this site works and realize their post will be deleted if they post a link, it isn't so. Because, they know they won't make any money from posts, since they will all be deleted. Most people know the post will be deleted, and so just hope enough people see it before it is deleted. The 4th one Could be ignorant people who are trying to make easy posts to make money, just copying and pasting a link. Good thinking....

Yes, but why not get some referrals from the posts as well? We all need them in order to make more money.

But even if you only want to talk about the site and somebody asks for your link, would you provide your link, don't you?

Hi friend, Most of the times it is to get referrals. Other times it is to know from the experience of other people if that site is legit or scam. You know I trade sites so even if I donĀ“t promote here my sites, I am open to discuss some of my experiences. Unfortunatly, some of those posts are deleted Take care!

Yes, I know that you trade sites, and I think that is a great way to help each other out. It is a shame that many people ask for our referral links and they won't use it. And later those people can be seen on the site.

The majority of times it is simply to get referrals, and this I know as I am really active here and can see so much of the activity. There are those that want to know if a site is legit, but after one or two posts what else is there to talk about in that discussion. So my best guess is the first one. LOL

I do not respond to discussions that have referral links as I know in advance the discussion will then be deleted. But if you are asking in general when I get a referral link, well if I decide to join the site I would want the person who sent it to benefit as without the advice to sign up I perhaps would not have known about it. I do not see the benefit of anyone not signing up under a referral really, I mean what is there to lose if I sign up under someone. I do not see the point in removing the referrer.

I think that most post just to get referrals, and not interested in much else, but there are others that are willing to help others make money too, so they will tell others about sites they have been making money from. I am always willing to help others to succeed, and I don't do it for referrals, as that is the farthest thing from my mind. If people sign up under me, then that is great, and if they don't then that is okay too. It doesn't matter to me one way or the other. Most of the ones that want referrals, will post the link in the discussion, which ends up getting deleted for doing so. Those are the kind of people that are only looking out for themselves, in hopes to get others to help them. I would rather see a good discussion about things worthwhile even if it is an earning site, just as long as they don't push it on others to get referrals. good luck to you and happy mylotting.

It is almost useless to join a site if you don't have referrals. And everybody needs them. My purpose is to let others know about the sites but I would like to get a few referrals as well. I really need money you know.

My guess is that the primary factor is to get referrals. Maybe they do genuinely want to share a new earning opportunity but I think that is the secondary intention.

But without referrals you cannot make lots of money. So it is logical that everybody wants them.

When any one try to post articles or post discussion, they will have ambition behind it, either to draw people to importance of that matter or to earn by referring. I think Even if people post and comment in this website, they will have definitely ambition of earning behind it.

I agree with you, the majority of people joined this site because of the earning opportunity. So it is logical for everybody to want to take advantage of this site and gain as many referrals for other sites as well.

Cannot agree more, but the majority won't use the referral link to join. They prefer to sign up without being referred. Why do they do this, I don't understand.
