I thought that my workplace coffee is the worst of the world, but since the trip to Kentucky last weekend, I found a place top this one. When we on our way back to from Kentucky, we pass through a gas station located between Tennessee and Atlanta, we just need a cup of coffee keep us awake, and the first sip of the coffee just awful, and the second sip just intolerable. After paying $1.40, I just have to toss that coffee away to the trash can. I just can't handle it. What is yours worst experience with coffee?

I personally think any Columbian coffee is nasty (and I drink a cup of coffee about every two hours, I'm a total addict), but I can still drink that. I will say this though: you can generally judge a restaurant or wherever there is some kind of food service on how good the coffee is.

Really? I like Olive Garden, they got some great coffee there, but a bit expensive though. I might not visit there many times though.

Olive Garden is expensive (and it's fake, haha. Real Italian is much better.) But yep, I think it's a pretty good standard. If a place can't take the time to brew proper coffee, which only takes a couple minutes, they aren't going to care about the more difficult tasks like cooking and serving and quality and such.

My uncle's coffee. The thing is... he's a truck driver and SUPPOSEDLY truck drivers drink coffee so strong it pours itself. But he complains that mine is too strong and when I visit his house and drink coffee there, it tastes terrible...apparently because it is too weak. But I like Starbucks coffee and hear from a lot of people that it's too strong so maybe I do make mine really strong *shrug*

Choc Full of Nuts I was between paydays and needed something to get me through the next couple of days. Disgusting and bitter, cream and sugar did not help things. My near gag and choke moment was 15 yrs ago when I went to apply at some makeshift temp agency. Stevie Wonder could see all the furniture was snap and go, so in this case coffee was not a priority. I think it was Sanka but at least it was free. Truthfully, I can take Folgers in small doses but would prefer to mix t with another kind.

I have tasted lots and lots of bad coffee because I am always trying new kinds whether I travel or am at home. recently I bought an off brand because I am trying to find several kinds I like since my kinds always seem to be removed from the shelves! So I wanted a back up! This was nasty! It didn't even smell like coffee when I opened the can..and it didn't even taste as good as dirt! ugh!! Won't be buying that for a back up! lol
