just wondering if you lived in an apartment and paid a pet deposit would you throw a fit if you had to pay an extra fee every month for your pet. your deposit being 200 and a monthly fee of 25 granted this is for each dog. all places in my area do this. most dont let you have pets at all. most of the peopel that live here have 2-3 dogs per apartment. alot of them are large dogs too. just wondering what you pet owners think. i love dogs well i love all pets but snakes and mice lol

I would pay simply because I would not want to give my pet up. It seems a lot of people do pay the extra, as they see their pets as family too.

We pay extra for our dog each month. I won't live somewhere that doesn't allow my dog. I have had her 13 years and she is part of our family. We also paid an extra move-in and cleaning fee for her. If I moved into a place thatcharged a fee and I didn't have any pets I wouldn't get a pet. My husband and I agree that after Rosie is gone, we won't have anymore pets since we hope to travel a bit.

I had to pay extra a month for my dog when we lived in the previous apartment. The neigbours were poor and they said I use water and heater for my dog and they don't want to pay for it. So the administration charged me an extra contribution for the dog. The place where we live now doesn't have such rules , but I wouldn't say anything if they asked me to pay for the dog. I try not to disturb any of my neighbours with my dog, because I understand that not everybody loves dogs as I do.
