Hello guys, just wonderin if about how many of you would like to buy the ipad. No doubt it's a very wonderful or awesome product. What are the factors you consider to buying the ipad? For me I'd rather buy an ordinary laptop but with great specs. =) I'm amazed with the ipad but sure don't know if its worth it. I feel that ipad is only great for playing or reading ebooks. That's all. And funny that it has a keyboard accessory! Well enough about me. How about you would you buy an ipad?

It's a big NO for me. Firstly, I can play on my computer. Secondly, I don't read books so iPad is not the thing for me. Even if I read books, I still prefer doing it the conventional way. The iPad carries some weight too LOL!

I think if you could afford it, then why not? If you feel that it's worth the buy, then buy one. I have always told myself that these things are not necessities, but when my boyfriend gave me an Iphone, I changed my mind. It's a clever little thing and it absolutely made my life easier, however, I cannot afford one. I think an Ipad may be good for some people, but if you're going to get a loan or sell a kidney to have one then I think that's plainly stupid. I think we should just see what best fits our lifestyle, use, and pockets. I don't see anything wrong with the device, though, I still can't afford one. But if I'd be given one, then I'd be grateful.

Anything, most especially technology will always depreciate because they are quick to have an upgrade or new stuff. I don't think you should need to buy one unless you're really on-the-go. However, I don't really think that buying an iPad if you already have a laptop or desktop is practical. It's a duplication of functions. I doubt you could use them all at the same time.

Hi laydee, very nice reply! yes iphone i think is a very simple yet versatile gadget. You have a very generous boyfriend by the way! =) Another follow up question, would you think ipad will depreciate? since it has a minimal function. Have a nice day!

Hello, I think the ipad is just eye candy mixed with brand name pricing. Considering you can only do one thing at time, as opposed to multitasking capabilities available for the iphone and obviously a Mac or normal laptop. It seems like a half hearted attempt at technology innovation. Might as well by an iphone which in my opinion is better since you can also make calls with, os save up the money and buy a mac or normal laptop.

id rather buy 10" netbook than ipad. in netbook you can do more things and for me is easier to use than ipad, it was just like a bigger version of itouch they are almost same application and use and kinda limited to use,

I would. Although I think this is not the best time to do so. Some indispensable features are coming up next year like a front and face camera and the rear 5.0 mp camera. I think it can be very useful in many situations like when waiting on a train station, in a college class or even just chilling at a park. You can do work, play games and browse the web on the big screen. Yeah, def gonna buy one

Wow that a cool follow thru to an ipad. Well I guess buying the gadget would depend on your needs. Everyone has different needs. It's good that things are going better and better! happy mylotting!

If they work as good and are as cool as they show on t.v I would buy one. I think they look very neat and could be allot of fun to use. Plus I like using touch screens allot, my old cell phone was a touchscreen and I loved it!

yeah no doubt they are cool, if your lifestyle suits its function. Touchsccreens are great technology. But i just think that the ipad has a minimal function no matter how stylish would it be. But it was nice to hear your side. Thanks!

I never considered to buy it... I think I'd rather want a lap top also. I don't know enough about it and I don't really have an interest in it.

hi tuliorowena. well, i consider an ipad as a literally bigger version of an itouch. almost same features, can be an alternative choice for techie consummers. but of course, it does not cover what a laptop can really give. when talking about necessity, i would prefer a laptop, then hope to have ipad when capable of having one. :)

Well, I think and iPad is a cool product, but maybe it's more like a toy. If I need a touch screen I would prefer a normal tablet pc, so when I want only to use the screen I would only use it, and when I needed a keyboard I would be able to use it too. But well, if I had the money I would buy both, because I like having new toys too

When I already own an iPhone, I don't see the need for an iPad because they offer similar functions. There are not much differences between the two except for screen size and other applications. If I have the money to spend, I would spend it on a laptop like u as it's better. With the amount of money I'm going to pay for iPad, I might as well top up a few hundred for the real thing. iPad has its advantages, just that it look stupid to me.

maybe that needs to consider is the quality of the goods, the specifications and most importantly, for people who would consider the price low.

Hm, I don't know. To be honest, I do not really think I need an Ipad, so I guess I would not, for that particular reason. I would rather get an Iphone and a separate e-book reader, I think!

Compared to a Laptop, they just don't measure up for me. Sure they're cool and trendy and have some cool functions but they just don't have the abilities I need in a device. They're awesome. They just don't do enough to make them worth the money in comparison to other options such as laptops for me.
