Is Harry Potter's latest movie would be the last of its series?

Harry is all grown up and I know that it would be released in two (2) parts. But do you think it would be the last of a successful series? Or do you think we would still see Harry grow old? What do you think or what would be your wish?

I agree , .. leave the storytelling to the author herself .. we'll just enjoy HPter for now ..

I hope for the same things. Let us just wait. Rowling is a brilliant writer. She'll soon think of other stories about HP. For the meantime, let us see the last HP movies. Thanks for sharing.

I think that if it is true to the actual story it will probably be the end of the "Harry Potter" stories. At the end of the story in the books Harry is grown and has children of his own. Maybe they would expand and make more, based on their lives.??

That would be a happy ending for HP. But it seems that's not how the other series of HP goes. Usually, conflicts come after the other. There would always be a twist to the story.

yes, Rowlings said this was it, and while I'd loved to see Harry grown up and a Aurur - or however that is spelled - Rowlings said this was it.

I wish it would not be the last. Anyway, Rowling may come out with a brilliant new story for us. She's a very good writer. Imagine, getting both children and adults as her audience. Thanks for sharing. Happy mylotting.

Unfortunately, it is as it as it represents the final book in the seven series. There is a part in the book where it explores Harry's life after Voldemort (read the book, no spoilers). With regards to wishes, I would like to see more back story on characters especially the generation of the Marauders, Lily, Snape and other teachers as well like Dumbledore and how McGonaggal tries to discipline that band of pranksters. Also a lot of information about the Magical community as well as the Ministry of Magic will also be nice as well. Other perspectives on minor characters are also an interesting topics.

I have seen all the HP movies except these last two. But I haven't read the book yet. I will check it on bookstores. I just wish that Rowlings would be able to come out with new stories that is quite as fascinating as Harry Potter. Thanks for the comment.

Hi snowhybiscuis! Sad to say I haven't seen the movie yet but I will soon,just being busy with my baby. I just replied to your discussion because I wanted to say I just hope it wont be the last series since I like Harry Potter much! My family has always been waiting for its series every year and hoping that's not the last. Happy mylotting!

Thanks for the sharing. I too, want to see the movie. I haven't seen it yet except for the trailers. I hope that it will not be the last yet. I enjoyed watching its series and I really love the effects they do for the movie. Best regards.

I agree with you DynamicBoy. We have seen HP from his younger years until he grew up together with his loyal friends. There are lots of things that I wished I also have with HP. Like having childhood friends beside you and helping you through hard times. Also, those people who believe in him is something that is quite inspiring. Enjoy the movie.

The latest Harry Potter movies are the two parts of the Harry Potter franchise. These are the final two films and there will be no more movies about harry potter.
