I had an experience like this before and after reading the guidelines about this, I am now more careful on where and what discussion should I post, there are times that mylot delete a discussion that violate the guidlines, your post may not violate their guidelines but the discussion itself. So better check out if the discussion id not violating before posting to save your time and effort. Nice meeting you here.

Yes this has happen to me! I have started discussions that violated Mylot Guidelines. It has also happen to me when I replied to adiscussions that were deleted. That something happens to others when there are alot of similar discussions on the same subject! I suggest you read or re-read the Mylot Guidelines! This discsussion might be deleted because it it looks like it violated the Mylot guidelines! Sorry! I am trying to be helpful not to be rude!

Yes, I have been receiving such message from myLot too, off and on. It must be the rule and the administrative procedure of myLot. That is fine. I continue on remaining active in the community, posting and responding to postings as much as time permits.

kekexinfeng, When I first came here, I did have a few of my posts removed and they are all found to be infringing myLot rules. Over time, I am now experiencing deletions for my responses to discussions that are started with rule violations. So, I believe we will need to check or rather read through these discussions before responding or remember the rules set within before starting on your topic. Take care and have a pleasant time here.

All the posts that are violations of the Guidelines are deleted. You will earn nothing for a deleted post and your user rating (the number beside your username) will decrease too each time you lose a post. If you are aware of the Guidelines you will know where not to post. http://www.mylot.com/o/guidelines.aspx

as far as i know, no doubt mylot is stricter than before, let's look at this way, as a forum, we must admit there has a good talking air here, but just because of a forum, hope we can write here just like posting a blog post that is not realistic, sometimes we even can't get rid of talking repeated thread or post, that wasn't intentionally, just because we don't know who did it before

As far as I know, you will not gain any money, reputation and even post counts when this happens. I know this sux and yesterday I responded to about 9 discussions that were deleted. Man so sad :(
