Is it true that ice cream can cause tongsilitis? Or is it just because of shouting? Shouting can make our throat hurt but it doesnt mean that Ice cream can do that also to us, isnt it?

hi, yes, i agree, eating ice cream so much will cause tonsillitis, i always experienced that, so if i eat ice cream, only a one or two cups only. to avoid inflammation of tonsils.

wrong wrong wrong its not the ice crean it is bacteria that causes tonsilitis and ask any doctor he would laugh himself sick at hearing ice cream causes tonsilitis.You already had an infection in your tonsils before you ate the ice cream, be sensible here.

hi glamgirldoll oh for pity 's sakes in hospitals they give ice cream to children for the first thing they can eat after having a tonsillectomy. no ice cream does not cause tonsilitis but bacteria cause it. do not believe everything you hear as most is really so wrong.

yeah, you are right. It doesnt mean that eating a lot of ice cream only can cause tonilities. It can be of many reason like change of season,variation in the climatic condition or whatever. I do eat a lot of ice cream,nothing harm has happen to me so far. Keep eating.
