Why do paypal doesn't allow funding from a bank account in the Philipines?

Why do paypal doesn't allow funding from a bank account in the Philippines? I like to buy some stuffs in the internet but since my bank doesn't use VISA or MASTERCARD I can buy them through the net. I do have paypal account and I added my bank account, I tried to add funds from my bank account but paypal said that funding from the account doesn't allow in our location. I need help for this.

Actually I believe there has to be law involved in this matter. Same goes to me in Malaysia, I am not able to sent fund to my PayPal. Can only go one way :) Anyway, if you have a credit card, you can linked it to PayPal. It even works with some debit cards. Hope this helps in some way.

Thanks for the info. HAve you tried linking you debit card or credit card to your paypal?

Yes. I have my credit card linked to paypal. Seems normal as I do internet transaction a couple of times monthly. Everything seems to be fine :) no problem experienced.

Dear pitstryke, maybe you can try to use credit card I think major credit card are accepted with payapal. or maybe you can try to find your local website who have service to adding fund to your paypal account (usually it called e-payment exchanger). I hope you can solve your problem and buy your stuff online
